I'm considering facial fat grafting to deal with asymmetrical fat volumes on my face. This asymmetricity started after I had lipoma excision near my right nasolabial fold 10 years ago, and it seems to be more prominent as time goes by. My question is, what happens when transplanted adipocytes ends up with its lifespan under the condition that those are initially settled? I've seen doctors say it's permanent but in my knowledge the lifespan of a single adipocyte is about 10 years.
I was severely overfilled in the under brow area, temples, under eyes/upper cheeks, six months ago. My face is now asymmetrical, upper face being disproportionately larger compared to the lower face. And my eyes hidden in fat. I have read about steroid injections and energy devices but the plastic surgeons in my country don't have experience with these and also don't recommend any other solutions. I would greatly appreciate if you could please provide me with any possible options to consider, thank you.
My left side (view from my right) makes it look like my forehead has been sliced. It's very sloped compared with the view from my left side which is more rounded and convex, which I like. Is there a way to even it out? It really bothers me that my head looks so narrow and pointed from that angle. Is this something fat grafting or filler could fix or is it more severe than that?
My face is very asymmetrical. I was in a car crash as an infant and have had facial trauma as a result (scars on chin as an example). The left side of my face is holding more fat in the cheek and the right side is holding less but shifted it down into under the chin. Could facial fat transfer improve my appearance? Or a combination of buccal fat removal and some form of implant? Ive also noticed that one side is hollowing more than the other and starting to develop deep face lines/festoons.
Had facial fat transfer year ago to treat my hollow under eyes and dark circles. My right side needed more fat to get a balanced and natural end result. Thus, surgeon injected 6ml to the right side and 4ml to the left, and now even after 12 months of the procedure I don't like the result as I feel I have too much fat on my right side and in the cheekbone. This makes my right side more inflated vs. the left and there is a slight bump on the right side. Any way to reduce fat on my right side?
My face has less volume on one side and I have never liked the way the lower part of my face looks on this side. Also, my chin looks a little uneven and think I might be getting jowls? I am a 35 year old female. What surgical and non surgical procedures would fix these/make my face more attractive please?
I had buccal fat removal a while back and now I have severe facial asymmetry. My left side is much thinner than the right. I had all the fat taken out and they were about the same size (3cc), the left was slightly bigger. My left however was my thinner side before the procedure so I needed less taken from that side. This procedure emphasized the asymmetry. What are my options? Fat grafting? Fillers?
