Hello, I had transconjunctival blepharoplasty and fat transfer to the mid-face on May 14th and I would like to know what my options are regarding a lump I have. I contacted the surgeon who did the surgery, however, she said lumps or bumps are impossible and recommended massaging the area. I searched online and can see that it's certainly not impossible, but I don't want to disagree with her. I would be very grateful if you could make me aware of my options. Thank you!
I had gotten fat transfer in my forehead. Unfortunately, due to fat necrosis visible hard lumps (cannot be seen on the photos) formed. I have tried fat dissolving injectons but lumps did not react, only healthy/live soft fat cells disappeared. What to do? No lipo is possible? Can be surgically removed?
I had fat grafting done to my periorbital area and nasolabial folds a year ago. 6 months post-op and Ive noticed a lump or a line that formed in the sides of my nose connecting to my cheeks. Initially i had thought some fat might have moved and grafted but my doctor said it might be fibrosis or scar tissue bec of the trauma. Now she is injecting mesolipo to lessen the appearance pf the said line. Would mesolipo actually help? Or what can? Had .5cc done each side i dont think sumthn has changed
I had a lower bleph in Oct 2021 and I was convinced to do the fat transfer to the mid-face even though I didn't want it. I'm generally happy with the bleph, but the fat transfer looks terrible on one side of the face. The only time I don't notice it is in extremely bright light. I'm not sure what type of doctor can help correct this or if there are any in my area. The surgeon I went to originally is in LA, which is an exhausting drive from my location.
I am a 42 yr old Asian female. I had fat from my thigh that wastranferred to my mid face below my lower eyelids. My face at rest looks fine but when I smile, there are bumps. Is this normal and will it go away? How long will it take it go away?
Im 40. I has fat grafted undereyes instead of filler due to thin skin.i developed a bruise that sits a mm above the hollowest part. Its like a ridge/bump/groove which is much more noticeable than anything i had before.no explanation from dr.told me to apply arnica and at follow ups just tried to crush it with force making it more bruised and painful.anything i can do? I can't go back to her i have no faith.
I have been unhappy with my facial fat transfer since 2008. The fat retained and was poorly placed, leaving me with lumping .As Ive gotten older, Ive gained weight, and the fat in my face just keeps getting fuller. Ive looked into removal over the years, but never seem like there was good options. Im hoping that now that its 2023. There are better options out there for fat transfer removal. How can I get this resolved?
I am interested in getting a fat transfer to my face, but keep hearing about fat lumps migration etc. for facial fat transfer what percentage of people have a problem after having the procedure is it big risk/low risk etc thanks
Hi. I had fat transfer in my cheeks 5 years ago and they have now gone into solid lumps in my face causing definite lines between the lumps. Is there anything that can be done to help and get rid of the lumps or decrease their size?
Will nano fat transfer done in multiple sessions add volume to an area? Or will only traditional fat grafting do that? Are there certain techniques that can be used to lesson the likelihood of lumps when transferring fat to the orbital area? Not the tear trough.
