I'm a male in his 30s and have had lifelong tear troughs. Most of the before/after pictures I see online show pretty good success with filling in the undereye/cheek area with fat to smooth out the troughs. I had a consultation with a doctor who suggested getting a blepharoplasty as well to cut the undereye fat and pull it down into the trough area, then fill in some fat. However to me it seems the damage to my face and extra cost may not be worth it. He is willing to do either or both.
I've had Fat transferred in the tear thru area, under my Eyes around 3 years ago. everything looks normal and fine, however i palpate under my left eye, closer to the cheek Area, like a bump, but it is rather hard, feels like Little piece of bone.it doesn't show on the outside, just could palpate with the finger. Do i need to get an mri or CTscan?rather concerned. my dr isn't of any help, as he is not a radiologist or trying to escape liability?pic wont help as nothing shows.
I got a consultation with a doctor who told me that they'd remove the fat from my eye bags, treat the fat and then inject it into my tear troughs. I did a lot of research but haven't seen this method anywhere . I only see doctors either moving the fat during surgery from the eye bag area to the tear troughs or by taking fat from other areas of the body to inject into the tear troughs. Is this method legitimate?
I will have waist traditional liposuction. Surgeon can transfer that fat to my problem areas in the face to blend tear drop and festoon. Will this fat transfer be effective on these areas and what are the side effects? Thank you for you feedback.
Hi! I wish to have under eye fat repositioning to fix eye bags/ tear trough under my large eyes with a negative vector to my cheeks. It seems that surgeons in Korea use nano fat to restore volume under the eye and all over the face(nasal labial folds). Is this due to a difference in terminology in Korea? Nano fat in Western countries seems to be used only to improve skin texture, not to provide structural support, or have I misunderstood??
Over the past 4 years I have had about 4 syringes of tear trough filler under my eyes by a top rated injector. As you can see, it still looks absolutely awful. These hollows are genetic, and very dark/purple coloured. They are my biggest insecurity and makeup cannot hide them. I am only 27. Will fat transfer get rid of these? Or an under eye implant? Please help.
I have read that dermal filler in the cheeks, and tear trough can block facial lymphatics and cause tear trough swelling. Would facial fat transfer/grafting affect lymphatic drainage in the same manner?
