Pigmented darkened skin above lip area. (photo)

My skin was very irritated and it scabbed off, turning pink for a day. Then it turned really really dark that one big patch about 1/2 inch and surrounding smaller areas. Please help, I don't know if this is scarred, pigmented, or darkened skin. Will this ever go away? Please, please help me.

I would recommend a combination of Melarase AM, Melarase PM, and Melapads to help reduce dark scarring on the lips.

It is difficult to tell from your picture, but this may be improved with skin care, lasers in combination with microneedling/PRP. See an expert for an evaluation. If you have eczema or irritation this has to be treated first.  Best, Dr. Emer.
