What kind of acne is this and how do I rectify it? (Photos)

I have never had bad acne until about 9 months ago it got really bad. I have tried all kinds of acne face washes with salicyclic acid & just when I started getting clearer, I started breaking out again. Not sure what it is exactly but I just want to rectify it because I'm so embarrassed to go out in public without makeup. I have been using a clean pillow case every night, I wash my face 2 times a day, I drink about a liter of water a day, and I sleep 6-8 hours pretty much every night.

Acne problems not resonding to OTC remedies

This needs an evaluation by a dermatologist. You probably need oral medication, maybe Accutane or antibiotics, as well as prescription topical medication. Laser treatments are also beneficial in some cases as is chemcial peels.

Nodulocystic acne

This is nodulo-cystic acne and should really be treated with tablets called accutane. This is the best treatment however there are other alternatives such as antibiotic tablets and tretinoin cream and benzyl peroxide.
