hello, I did a non surgical nose job to fill a depression in my nose tip , the doctor used juvederm. i did it 2 days ago but it's still swollen and it looks much bigger than before ! my nose tip is so bulbous now ! is it normal that my whole nose is bruised and painful ? if yes, then when will it go away so i can see the real result ? thank you , please reply as soon as possible i'm so worried
Yes, it is, and particularly if you have bruising. This indicates that you had some bleeding, which causes the area to attract more fluid. With bleeding, it may takes weeks before you see the final result. If the sweling is still present after several weeks or even 2-3 months, hyaluronidase can be injected into the area to dissolve the Juvederm. However, I would wait until all of the swelling subsides before requesting this. The nose tends to hold on to fluid longer than other areas of the face.
Do other traditional skin rejuvenation procedures work just as well? What Are the Advantages of Juvederm for Crow's Feet?
Not in my opinion. To inject proficiently, one must know the anatomy of the face and be able to handle any problems that may occur. I do believe the qualified nurses and PA's may do a good job according to their background, however, and some are excellent. But injections should be reserved for someone in the medical field. Only MD's inject in our office.
people have often said they do not see it BUT I Can. i went and got botox twice and dr said she even put the "extra" on forehead which i did not care for anyway i did not have any lines on forhead to begin with so didnt get the logic on that. Anyway i was told y another dr that a filler would do the job but she is also recommending some 90 day challenge face cream which she stated may even help with the line...Any advice would be so much appreciated the creams are alot more expensive
Most fillers from Juvederm to Artefill to Sculptra will help the "frown" lines between the eyebrows. The usual treatment is to deactivate the muscles causing the problem with Botox, and this is a very effective treatment. If there is a permanent line even after Botox, you can get one of the fillers injected. However, understand that it is remotely possible that injecting a filler can cause the skin to necrose, which would cause scarring. Ask your doctor about the duration of the various fillers, as some last longer than others.
