Shine Medical Spa by Plastic Surgery of the Carolinas

Dr. Craig Rowin, MD is a board-certified plastic surgeon and owner of Plastic Surgery of the Carolinas in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina serving the greater Charleston area. He is also the owner of Shine Medical Spa by Plastic Surgery of the Carolinas located Downtown, Charleston in the historic Cigar Factory. He specializes in a wide range of reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery procedures.

Jacque is the Practice Administrator for both Plastic Surgery of the Carolinas and Shine Medical Spa by Plastic Surgery of the Carolinas. Jacque brings over twenty years of both clinical and managerial experience in the medical and aesthetic sphere. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business and Marketing from Iowa Weslyan University and is committed and dedicated to making every patient experience as pleasant and comfortable as possible.

Jennifer is the Practice Manager for Shine Medical Spa. She began her career as a licensed aesthetician and has extensive previous experience in a busy dermatology practice. Her passion lies in helping patients from a customer service vantage and excels in her position as the front office manager. Although she has spent over a decade in management, her aesthetic interests remain an important focus for her. Jennifer’s aesthetics and management experience make her an essential and vital member of our team.

Having done many medical mission trips when younger, Liz had always had an interest in the art of Medicine. While catering on the side, she returned to school to get the necessary prerequisites to apply to MUSC PA school. She graduated in 2016 with a Master of Physician Assistant studies, and since then has held positions in Allergy and Immunology, Urgent Care, and then found her place in Cosmetic Injecting and Aesthetics. As an artist, it was the best of both worlds. She has been practicing as an injector for over two years prior to finding her place at Plastic Surgery of the Carolinas and Shine Medical Spa. When not in the office, Liz loves to spend time outside: surfing, beaching, yoga, pickleball, and golf. She loves going to see live music with friends, and spending time with her rescue dog, Kaia, going on walks and to the park. She still loves photography and cooking, and if you’re lucky, you might catch her on a day she baked cookies for the office.

As a graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina’s Accelerated Nursing Program, Zach earned his Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing while receiving highest honors for community health nursing and medical research. After graduating, Zach worked at a busy medical office as a cosmetic nurse injector and laser specialist. Many years were spent working in dermatology mastering the art of dermal fillers, BOTOX® Cosmetic/Dysport®, laser treatments, and more. Zach is excited to share his talent with his clients, offering them the highest quality of service.

With over 10 years of experience in medical aesthetics, she specializes in cosmetic treatments to restore and enhance one’s natural beauty. She began her career working in the most respected Plastic Surgeon’s office in Las Vegas, Nevada as an Aesthetician. She later enrolled in nursing school to further her knowledge of facial anatomy and skin function. She worked in various positions to include pre and post-operative care, as well as scrubbing into surgeries to further enhance her knowledge of anti-aging procedures. She moved back to her native home of Charleston, SC to be closer to her immediate family and to bring her comprehensive background in skincare to the low country. Amber holds advanced certifications in state of the art lasers and non-surgical cosmetic procedures such as: intense pulse light therapy, laser hair removal, laser skin resurfacing, PRP hair restoration, chemical peels, Morpheus8, and more!
