Hands-down Best Doctor in Charleston

By far. The best experience I have ever had with a doctor across-the-board. Dr. Rowin is the most personable human I have ever met since moving to South Carolina. The team in his office is phenomenal as well. I definitely recommend to everyone looking for any kind of surgery.

We made the smartest and safest treatment plan for me

Every bit of my experience with Dr. Rowin and his team has exceeded my expectations. My first consultation I went in expecting to be pushed into everything I thought I needed right then and there (breast reduction, tummy tuck, liposuction, etc), but I was pleasantly surprised to find that was not the case for this office. Dr. Rowin was informative, kind, and compassionate in explaining to me...

Incredible Breast Reduction—my neck pain is gone, my breasts are perky and beautiful

From my consultation to my healing six months post-op, my experience with Dr. Rowin and Plastic Surgery of the Carolinas has been superb. I traveled from NC down to Mt. Pleasant in October to have a consultation done and it was incredible. Dr. Rowin listened to me patiently, took as much time as needed to answer all my questions, and calmed all of my nerves. I knew immediately that he...

Positive, Personal and Patient!- and Clearly Talented

I have never met a Dr that is more positive and patient in his pre and follow up care. I am THRILLED with my Tummy Tuck and Muscle Repair results and thoroughly trust his expertise. He is genuine, polite and I am very thankful to have landed in his capable and talented sculpting hands. I am only 4 weeks post op and my results are fantastic. At every apt he has answered all of my questions and...

I can’t say enough great things about Dr Rowin and his practice! He listened to everything I asked for and did such an amazing job! I couldn’t be happier with the results. He exceeded my expectations. Both Dr Rowin and everyone that works with him were so accommodating, kind, and were there for me every step of the way. Also Reba his nurse is the best! So kind and caring. If you are loo...

Q: Is one pass enough for a Morpheus 8 treatment?

Q: 40 year old- Can I get recommendations for anti-aging for someone with melasma? (photos)
Answered by Dr. RowinFebruary 7, 2023

A: With Melasma we have to be very careful when it comes to lasers. The Clear+Brilliant touch laser can be used to treat and improve melasma, large pore size, hyperpigmentation, fine lines + wrinkles, collagen loss, and skin tone+texture. However, the provider treating the patient needs to take a conservative approach and take precautionary measures such as icing the skin to keep the skin cool. This being said, when researching for a provider to receive treatment for melasma, look for a provider who is licensed, has ample amount of experience, and specializes in melasma and other skin conditions. This treatment is not suitable for all and we recommend scheduling a consultation before any treatment to determine which treatments are best suited for you. We also recommend getting on a medical grade skincare regimen customized to your skin's needs and conditions.

Q: Root canal after tear trough fillers?
Answered by Dr. RowinFebruary 7, 2023

A: At the two week post treatment mark, the risk of infection related to your prior filler injections is minimal. The dermal filler used has settled by the two week mark. Do not receive dermal filler injections two weeks before or after dental work due to bacteria and infection. Unless you had unexpected complications, you should be good to go to proceed with your root canal.
