I had my Otoplasty and Rhinoplasty done in May. Considering I had multiple procedures done the pain was very minimal. I didn't have to take much pain medication, only for the first few days. The biggest issue I had was trying to sleep in an upright position. The second issue was not being able to wash my face thoroughly. So far I am very happy with my results. My surgery turned out better then... more
I had a terrible experience with doctor Schoenfeld. 4 years ago I was operated on for a deviated septum. While my nose looks slightly straighter i am missing a piece of the cartilage at the front base of my nose. I was not told this prior to surgery. Now i have to live with the inside of my nose feeling akin to a burn victim.
The worst part is that i can only breathe well out of one nostril.... more
Since I was a teenager I have disliked my nose. My dad's nose is what I was born with and I am *finally* doing something about it! I have a slight hump atop a wide bridge and a bulbous tip - when I look in the mirror I see a nose similar to that of a clown. I'm no stranger to plastic surgery, having had a breast augmentation and liposuction nearly 10 years ago. In the last few years I have... more
I had a family trait of a humped nose and when I was younger it was fine since I had fullness in my face it didn't appear to be that bad ( at least not to me ) but as I aged the nose started to droop and the hump became more apparent in photos especially on side profile. I finally made an appointment with Doctor Naderi because my laser specialist (Hollar! To Sara at PARVA Plastic Surgery )... more
My cousin encouraged me to do it...found out that it was needed to get done. I had a pronounce Middle Eastern/black nose. With the help of makeup and practicing my angles for pics I could camouflage my nose. So I went to the PS to see if I was able to achieve most of my looks in pics that I like of myself. I had confidence in the PS because he did a lot of ppl I knew. I really like his end... more
I am ready to get a new nose. After all the search I have done for months. I have no doubt, Dr. Kofi Boahene is the one. Based on before and after photos, especially after the Skype consultation, I am confident he can deliver and I believe he will make my dream comes true.
I will keep you update guys.
painting the face for Privacy right. I like her nose, but I would like an higher bridge... more
Here i was, picky, phobic, scared, but Dr Naderi inspired total trust and confidence, his staff is so warm and knowledgable, his botoxing is amazing, he knows just what to do and I will only trust my face to his ability - so finally went ahead with rhinoplasty. I expected pain and bruising but it was so comfortable, not painful. The recovery was a very quick week with almost no down time, and... more
Dr. Naderi and the staff at iNova was amazing. I was obviously very nervous but there was not a lag in wait time. We checked in, got taken back, got the IV, chatting with the anesthesiologist and Dr. Naderi, then they gave me some meds and took me back! I woke up afterward in mild pain (more of a pressure than anything) and went home soon afterward.
The first day (surgery day) wasn't as bad... more
I was the pretty girl but with a wonky, asymmetrical nose. But people that I know and don't know told me I was beautiful all the time. Still, I remember the first time I saw my nose profile. I was 12 years old and I was surprised. I had never really seen my profile. I had a hump develop after puberty. At 17, I would look at my nose in the mirror and see what I could change about it. At 21 I... more
I have always wanted rhinoplasty because I had a big, thick Middle Eastern nose that was some what masculine and I wanted a more feminine nose. I went to 2 doctors total. Dr Le was the 2nd doctor I went to after going to Dr. Naderi in Chevy chase ( which by the way is way to hyped up)- he charges way too much and doesn't listen to you. First, it took me like a month to get Dr. le's initial... more
I can not thank Dr. Le enough for my new nose! He is very caring an takes pride in his work. Dr. Le schedules plenty of time for you consultation and you don't feel rushed. He spent two hours explaining everything and answering all of my questions. He is a perfectionist so you know his work is as close to perfect as possible. I am very happy with my results and would highly recommend him to... more
I am extremely pleased with the outcome of a recent surgical procedure conducted by Dr. Le of Baltimore-Washington Facial Plastic Surgery, and am very happy to provide a review of this experience.
As a teenager some 40 years ago, I broke my nose in a ‘rough-housing’ accident. I have never been particularly pleased with the visual effect of the break and followup surgery to realign the... more
I'm extremely happy with my result already. My surgeon was fantastic and agreed to exactly what I wanted. However, I still have a slight bump on the bridge of my nose. While it is something I can happily live with (my tip was my main concern), I would like to know how much it could possibly go down! more
I've been self conscious about a bump on the bridge of my nose ever since my high school years. It's not really something I've been teased badly for, I've gotten a few comments on it here and there that were uncalled for but it never particularly hurt my feelings. It merely proved that I wasn't being overly critical or seeing something that wasn't there.
This is something I'm doing for... more
I have literally been wanting a nose job since I was about 13 years old and realized the Italian nose my parents had blessed me with. I have been teased and bullied about it since.. even now to this day I have had two ex boyfriends who at the heat of the breakup couldn't help but make comments that have a "big nose". Makes sense since one I dated for 5 years, the other for a year (eye roll).... more
For medical reasons, I had my septum straightened and my turbinates reduced. I also opted to have a rhinoplasty. I ended up having a closed rhinoplasty, although I was warned that the surgery could be open, if needed, once I got to the OR. The surgery was fairly easy. I experienced a headache and nausea right after surgery. After surgery, splints were left in my nose as well, packing. ... more
3 Months Post-Op
I should have written this review awhile ago because a lot of the details are already fleeting -- but maybe that will be a source of positivity for you! It's only been 3 months since my surgery and I sometimes forget I've even had it done (until I look at my nose, of course, and am reminded how glad I am I did this!)
First off, there are a ton of reviews out there on what to... more
I had a septo-rhinoplasty last year. I am writing this to reach out to those out there who are thinking of having a rhinoplasty but are not entirely sure, or to those who have had this procedure and are experiencing severe depression/PTSD. Many people do not think about the risks, and I would be happy to share my experience. I did not have a "botched" surgery , nor do friends and family think... more
Dr. Chaboki did a bad job on my nose. I have to get a revision. ;(( He didn't make the changes I requested, my nose still looks the same length and to make matters worse...theres is no support on my tip, my nose now droops and my profile looks worse than what I started. I would not recommend him for nose jobs. He is a sweet doctor but still needs more experience. more
For a few years I was debating whether or not to have a rhinoplasty. I really wanted to do my research and find a good doctor that I was comfortable with. I found Dr. Richards on ratemd.com and he had a lot of good reviews so I decided to schedule a consultation with him. The consultation fee was $100 and it went towards my surgery. When I met with Dr. Richards he really took the time to go... more
