I had my implants removed on 3/5/2024 by Dr. Crantford. I had a full anchor lift with the auto-augmentation method. (Preserving as much tissue as possible)

I am so glad I went to him. I’m now 8 months post op and my incisions are super thin and clean. Being a person of color I was so worried about melanin buildup that would cause keloids or rough scarring but my incisions are healing so well. I did use Mederma scar strips.

I ended up going back into the office to have my drains removed and his office was very accommodating.

I was a 34DD with the implants and after removal I am a 34C. His fees are very reasonable for the level of expertise and care provided. I would totally recommend his team. From the beautiful young lady who removed my drains to his very caring anesthesiologist. I was blessed!

Ignore the botchy photoshop to conceal my identity. This is so long after due but I had to share my results from my breast lift. Please refer to my profile for before pics (it was bad). I did not have implants or any enlargement. My results totally speak for themself. Dr Crantford is an amazing surgeon and he completely changed my life and gave me so much confidence I never had before.

A few years ago , my breasts were left butchered by another plastic surgeon. I had lost a nipple, was covered in scar tissue, both implants were way too big for my body but one breast was ridiculously larger than the other. It took me a few years to get the mental strength to decide I was going fix the mess I was left with. I live in the Charleston, SC area but I was willing to travel anywhere to find a doctor that could make me look normal again.
I had a few local and virtual consults with top notch plastic surgeons all over the East coast, and they all told me the same thing. I was one of the worst they have ever seen, that it would take multiple surgeries to make me look normal again, and don't have too high expectations. I knew it was bad, but I had no idea how bad it was from a plastic surgery perspective. One of them didn't even want to touch me and the other two, just floundered when I asked them questions on their strategy. I was starting to lose hope.
I decided to have a consult with Dr. Crantford before I made my decision on where I was going to go. While he did tell me that I was a complicated case, I knew right away that he was the doctor that was going to make me look normal again. His confidence during the consultation was everything that I needed to feel and hear. He didn't tell me it would take multiple surgeries to get it right, and he had an answer for every question I had. I knew what he was taking on, but I still left that consult thinking I made the right decision.
I had my surgery two weeks ago and the bandages were just removed. He took out the over-sized implants and replaced them with smaller ones, removed a ton of scar tissue, made them the same size, and somehow made me a nipple that actually looks like a nipple. Just like my headline says, he is extremely gifted and talented to have the skills to actually not just "fix" them but make them look as good as they do. I will be honest; my expectations were nowhere near what the results are. They look amazing and I feel better than I have in years.
His entire staff including his front office, nurses, assistants, and, anesthesiologist are topnotch. They are caring and there for you when you need anything. I know my case is extreme, but it is a testament to what a skilled plastic surgeon Dr. Crantford is.
I wasn’t going to add pictures to this review but I feel like I have to. I chose Dr. Crantford based on the reviews and pictures on this site and If this review can help someone that is going through what I went through, I want them to know that there is a doctor out there that can help them have a normal life.

If I could give Dr. Crantford 1000 stars I would. I’m almost One week post op from getting a breast lift and implant, and I could not be happier with my results. His staff was amazing and attentive, and he is an actual magician. I told him to do what he thought would be best and they are better than I could have ever hoped!

I had a full mommy makeover to include tummy tuck, 360 lipo, breast lift with augmentation and muscle repair on August 19, 2021. I am 51 years old and have prayed for this opportunity to have surgery for at least 20 years. I only had one child but around the age of 30 I ended up with a full hysterectomy. And as a result I went into menopause early. I started gaining tummy weight and losing the firmness and shape in my breast and no matter how hard I worked out or dieted the fat stayed. I had just about given up. My wonderful husband finally told me to get a consultation and I was referred to Dr. Crantford. Upon meeting him and his staff I knew I had found the doctor for me. He is so personable I felt very comfortable right away. I scheduled my surgery and it's been the best thing I've ever done for myself. The results are unbelievable. I am only six weeks post op at this point and I have had several occasions to wear a bikini since for just a few hours and I feel very confident in it. Never thought I'd have that opportunity ever again. He truly has given me my confidence back. Bonus is that my husband can't keep his hands off me and I quote him with "that's the best damn money I've spent". So if you're on the fence rush over to him. He is truly amazing

I am writing this review one, to rave about Dr. Crantford and staff (truly the best), and also to help others that may want the same procedure. I could not be happier with my results, and yes, what they say it true...I wish I would have done it sooner!

I love Dr. Crantford. I hope someday he switches to becoming a strictly explant doc. Implants are making hundreds of thousands of women seriously sick. I was bedridden with them. Dr. Crantford did a beautiful job explanting and lifting. I'm so glad I picked him. He gives his patients his cell phone number so he is always available. His employees were lovely too.

I received 2 consultations before seeing Dr. Crantford. I was still unsure of having the procedure since I am a stay at home mom to 3 very active boys! It was the best decision I've ever made! My hubby was very supportive and has cared for me and our boys while I recover. You will need a supportive spouse as the first week you will not be able to do much. After my consultation in April, I decided to move forward with Dr. Crantford. Dr. Crantford is an amazing physician with great bedside manner. He is very down to earth and makes you feel comfortable right away. I also loved that I could view before/after pics of previous patients. His coordinator Kristen and nurse Raegan are equally as kind and welcoming! Raegan text me every single day for over a week and reassured me at my appointment today to text anytime with any questions. I felt like I could talk to them like I would one of my friends asking any silly questions at any time. I am so incredibly happy with my results and with the care I was given! My hubby can be rather critical of doctors and even said I made a great choice in Dr. Crantford! I can't wait for my swelling to subside and to see the final results but right now I can sit with absolutely no rolls! I cannot even remember the last time I had no rolls on my stomach! I highly recommend Dr. Crantford and his staff!

It’s been over four months since my surgery and I am still very happy with my results! My stomach is nice and flat! I can see a tiny bit of ab definition starting to show. I am so glad I chose Dr. Crantford and his amazing staff!

Cannot recommend Dr Crantford and his office enough.

I came to this office because my textured breast implants had been recalled and needed them replaced. When I first called, Maria at the front desk, was so accommodating, specially since I was on a time crunch. She worked with me and my schedule and was able to squeeze me in for a consult very quick. I could tell she really went out of her way to get me in.

Working with Kristen, Patient Care Coordinator, was such a breeze and an easy process. She was a delight and I felt she listened to my concerns and was amazing at getting back to me and helping me with anything I needed. She is very good at what she does!

Dr Crantford and surgical staff day of, Tricia, Tim and Jessica, were so great and I felt comfortable and well taken care of while getting ready and once in the OR. Tim was so wonderful and listened to all my concerns regarding anesthesia and trouble I've had in the past. I could tell he really went out of his way to do everything he could to make it a good experience. I could not be more thankful for that!

Recovery was easy and they were in constant contact after, Tricia texted me every day for a week and answered all my questions.

I couldn't be happier and would recommend this office to anyone.

I had my consult on September 19th,2020 Dr Crantford is very personable and professional He was very easy to talk with and answered my questions I will have another consult with him to ask more questions. The first one seems like a blur due to nerves and fear! I am as excited as I am scared. I know I made the right choice with him and his team.

Well I had my second consult today. Dr Crantford is just as amazing today as he was the first time. He answered all my questions and did not take umbrage with any of them. He was kind and genuine and made me feel unbelievably comfortable with my decision to go ahead with the surgery on January 5,2021. I am excited and nervous!! He and his staff are simply the best. A few more weeks to go.

I have decided to go ahead with my surgery with Dr. Crantford on Jan 5, 2021. He genuinely makes you feel like you are the perfect candidate for the surgery and he is the doctor to perform the surgery! I am buying it!! :) He is smart and charismatic and experience, and I believe has everything it takes to follow through with his surgery plan for me to be successful. So I am having a tummy tuck with lipo and muscle repair and an arm lift. He explained his way of doing the arm lift totally different that Inhaf ever heard it. He liposuctions all the fat out of the arm then cuts the skin off and stitches it up, therefore not to interfere with the nerves or lymphatic system in the arm. Therefore no need for drains in the arm and less trauma to the arms as well. The tummy and I will have to tough it out for a couple weeks but I am sure we will make it. Blood clots are my main concern at this point so I am gearing up for mobility once it is over. I did ask him about Exparel for pain but he said he didn’t use it. He said if I wanted it he would absolutely get it for me it would just be $300 more which is right for that pain control medicine. He said he has not had any problem with what he uses now. So I will mull that over for a bit. He really just made me feel so much better about the whole surgeries today. It was an amazing appointment and he is an amazing doctor who is in Charleston, SC.

Well it’s finally about here. I have had so many thoughts the last few days. Cancel, do it, cancel!!. I guess it is just nerves and excitement. I have wanted my arms done for so long and the tummy tuck was an added bonus when my partner of 15 years said he would support my decision and help me through my recovery. He is the best!! So we go down to Charleston,SC tomorrow and spend the night and my surgery is at 7:00 am on Tuesday morning. They said it will take approximately 6 hours. Mentally prepared for the recovery and all that goes with it. I have lived with back pain for years and arthritic pain so it isn’t foreign to me. Hoping my pain isn’t to overwhelming. Well I will post again after the surgery and update how things went. I have full confidence in Dr. Crantford and staff so it takes away some of the anxiety of it all. Receiving all prayers.

Well I finally had my surgery January 5,2021. I am 10 days out. I had my one week visit with Dr. Crantford on the 13th. Everything is going good. He was very pleased with my progress and healing. Dr. Crantford and his entire staff are simply amazing!!! I couldn’t have been more blessed to have him and them as my team!! I arrived the night before and stayed in one of his suites. My surgery was at 7am the next morning. It was a restless night but at 7 am they were there to fetch me. Tricia took me in for pictures and to meet with Dr. Crantford so he could mark me up. He was so reassuring and calm and just made me feel like everything was going to be ok. He asked me if I was ready for my TT, arm lift and muscle repair! I completely trusted him and his staff. The surgery went great and they even fixed a 3 inch hernia they found!! Amazing. My arms look amazing as does my stomach. It turned out better than I could have ever imagined. I wanted to cry when I saw my arms. They have always been so large. He said he removed 5 lbs of skin and fat from them!! My stomach is tight like never before!! I had gained and lost weight so much over my adult life I could’ve never gotten rid of all that skin.
Ok. Here it is.... the only one huge problem I had was constipation!! Terribly hard stool and was impacted. It simply tore me up. My fault though I should’ve been taking stool softeners weeks before my surgery and I didn’t do it. Please everyone take them. That truthfully had been the worst pain throughout this whole process so far. My arms are amazing and I can use them now without pain. I actually have had very little pain from the surgery. I guess the Experal was worth it. I am going to post pictures prior to surgery and a week out. I will update as my healing goes on. I am so excited!!!

Dr. Crantford is absolutely the best and I am forever blessed I chose him and his staff as my surgery team. The results which are only 10 days out are simply amazing. I had a tummy tuck with liposuction and muscle repair, plus an arm lift with liposuction . He did an amazing job. He is a caring and articulate and just makes you feel everything is going to be great. For me that has been true. His team is just as caring. They were in touch everyday and answered all my questions promptly and lovingly. Even on a Sunday!!! He is extremely talented and is just an amazing doctor. I can’t recommend Dr. Clayton Crantford and his center highly enough. If I ever decide to do more work he will definitely be my surgeon of choice.

Best experience ever for being nervous and anxious about doing such an in depth surgery. He is amazingly talented and caring. Don’t let his young age fool you he is experienced in his field. I would do it all over again in his center. His staff is equally caring and attentive and simply loving.

Well it’s been almost 6 weeks. I am feeling so good. My arms are finally healing up nicely. I go to see Dr. Crantford this Tuesday for my 6 week checkup. I still am wearing my sleeves and compression bodysuit. A lot of the stitches on my arms have worked themselves out and were quite sore but that has healed up now. I can’t get over how amazing my scars look. The scar for my TT has never bothered me at all. I had no trouble with my Abdominoplasty at all. Simply amazing. I can’t recommend Dr. Crantford’s practice highly enough plus his staff.

Well this Wednesday will be 12 weeks for me. I have healed so well!! My arms are still very sensitive but I knew it was going to be a while for them to heal. I still wear my compression garment for my tummy and sleeves for my arms. Started lymphatic massages last week. Not sure about them but I signed up for 8 of them. It can’t hurt I guess. I am just so thankful I chose Dr. Crantford for my surgeon. I don’t believe I could have chosen better. I will update later after my dr visit.
