I had a brow pexy over a year ago. I now have very hollow areas directly under my brows. What could have been done to prevent this. How can it be permanently fixed? I am a 52 year old female.
Thank you for the photos. This is a small area of depression, but quite obvious. It is easily corrected with micro fat graft injections to get a permanent or long lasting result. This can be done under local anesthesia with no down time. Talk to your surgeon about this. Good luck.
Is there a technique used for men with receding hairlines so that scaring is minimal? How visible are the scars?
If you are a male with a receding hairline your safest bet is an endoscopic brow lift as long as there is some hair left in the temple area
I want to find an experienced dermatologist, esthetician or ps who can take a global approach to the peri-orbital area. It is not so much the tear trough that is a problem but the area kind of lateral to that, going toward my cheek/temple, if that makes sense. Also looking for one who can do the approach of putting filler in the upper lid and shift it toward the inner lid by hand, to fill in eye hollows. I've seen this in a video and it was delicate work, beautiful outcome.
It is difficult to answer your question without seeing your pictures – based on the level of volume loss you have either fat or HA fillers (Juvederm/Restylane) could work.
