TLDR: Dr. Salemy is a consummate surgeon and he and his entire staff are extremely professional, polite, and genuinely caring. They are detail-oriented with a high standard of care and I truly had such a seamless experience that one could hope for. Thank you, Dr. Salemy and staff, for instilling immeasurable confidence that I was missing and contributing to a better quality of life!
2022 bra shopping: I looked down at my chest. My breasts looked like deflated balloons, one droopier than the other with nipples that looked like crumpled Tootsie Rolls. They became permanently elongated primarily from constantly pumping on the highest setting with flanges that did not properly fit. These bad boys went through two amazing journeys of providing and nourishing my kids but oh, how I longed to be bustier again when they were engorged. I wore size 32 A bras since puberty as that was the smallest size available in most stores and never bothered to actually get a proper fitting. Now, the thought of having to buy a smaller bra was defeating when the gaping and bulging of the cup edge was even more evident. It brought up the most negative memory I’ve harbored since my teens when someone cruelly joked to me that I had mosquito bites instead of boobs. I was tired of feeling insecure wearing certain clothing and during intimacy and I knew it was finally time to consider a breast augmentation that I had been patiently waiting for.
Nov. 2022: I was referred to Dr. Salemy by my lovely coworker who also had a breast augmentation done by him. At my consultation, I settled for 285 cc for the left breast and 305 cc for the right, which was the maximum size he recommended due to my petite frame, and I also opted for the nipple reduction. He mentioned I would have a gap/wider set breasts but I already understood that from where my pectoralis muscles naturally attached to the sternum. I felt comfortable with Dr. Salemy's knowledge, confidence, skill, and honesty about my surgery that I did not seek consultations elsewhere.
July 2023: Anxiety plagued me on surgery day but the anesthesiologist, Dr. Erlitz, had a calm and delightful demeanor that helped calm my nerves. While I was laying cozily under a heated comforter listening to “Oh Devil” by Electric Guest playing in the background, I distinctly remember my last thought prior to being under general anesthesia was “dang, this is pretty sweet!” It truly doesn’t get any better than this so shout out to the rest of my surgery team: Angela, Lindsey and Raven for taking exceptional care of me!
Surgery and post-op healing was a BREEZE. My pain level was at a steady 1 while on celecoxib and gabapentin, I took zero oxycodone and at my one day post-op, I told him that I felt like a million bucks — it was like I didn’t even have surgery. By day three I was only taking Tylenol and my pain level at its worst was a 3 from those random zingers. The most discomfort endured were from the nerves of my nipples waking up during the 2nd week and they also have been high-beamin’ 24/7 since, but I ain’t complaining! Several other reviews mention the bandeau being uncomfortable and digging in the armpits but I didn’t experience that. I went back to work after two weeks with no discomfort but became sore from not taking into consideration how much lateral movement I do for my occupation. I purchased the silicone scar cream and tape but use the latter majority of the time while also attempting to massaging the scars as often as I remember.
After my 6 week post-op I was actually looking forward to getting professionally fit for a new bra size. I’m now a 28 E (sister sizes would be 30 DD and 32 D for reference) and I would highly recommend visiting The Pencil Test in Renton for a proper fitting compared to Victoria's Secret and Nordstroms. The girls look phenomenal — symmetrical, perky, the perfect amount of roundness, and best of all, the nipples are on fleek! I’ve now bought and worn clothing that showcases the décolleté such as lingerie, bikinis, low cut tops and I absolutely feel more sexy, feminine and overall, complete. Goodbye hesitation and hello to this newfound radiance of confidence!

It’s been 6 months since my breast augmentation + nipple reduction and I wanted to further invest in my self-esteem and confidence with a boudoir photo session at Hush & Wild Boudoir in Pioneer Square. The photo book will be a surprise gift to my hubs for his unconditional love and support but I also get to provide some elevated photos compared to the previous selfies ;) The ladies at H&W are amazing and made it such an empowering experience!
I'm still ecstatic about my results and it truly has done wonders for me, especially self-love and appreciation. Cheers to being able to be/feel sexy and having a confident demeanor!PS: my topless photos were with the honey add-on.
