I am able to hold off on a facelift until next year. I am keeping things at bay with Dysport and Restylane I do though have a neck problem with soft beginning of a sagging there. Uneveness from lipo 10 years ago. Which comes first for best results? The face and than the neck? I feel like the horse or the cart asking this, but I think maybe a future facelift will affect the lay of the face. Thanks
A facelift should include a neck lift by definition. The pull exerted on the lower face during facelift to remove the jowls also lifts the neck backwards and reduces any loose skin or turkey neck deformity. At the same time an incision can be made under the chin to remove excess fat from the neck and tighten the neck muscle called 'Platysma'.

I am 39 years old--almost 40. I do not sag in the neck but when I turn my neck to a certain way, I do not like the appearance. It is not quite sagging but it is very loose and unattractive. Do I need a neck lift yet or what would work without surgery?
A neck lift is an excellent procedure that can help correct and enhance the neck, which improves loose saggy skin, and gives a more natural look. Unfortunately, anyone who turns their neck in certain directions or turns the chin in may show some loose skin. If your neckline in the normal position looks good, then you probably won't benefit from surgery. There is no ideal age for neck surgery, and candidates may range from people in their 20's to the elderly as long as you are a good candidate. To see if you are qualified for this surgery, you should be sure to speak with a board certified facial plastic or plastic surgeon.
Hello. I'm 46 years old and although I have a youthful face, my neck gives away my age. It seemed to happen all of a sudden.
I really hate my neck, but I don't have the funds necessary to pay for a Neck lift and all that that involves without some type of financing. So, two questions: How long would a typical Neck lift last before having to get touch-ups, and what payment options are available? Thank you.
Necklift lasts anywhere from 5 to 10 years before needing a touch up. Healthy living and good skin care can make it last even longer
Financing is available through Care Credit a Cosmeti Surgery Financing Company.
