Farhad Rafizadeh, MD

I have wanted to get a facelift for several years, but was always nervous. I met with several doctors in Manhattan, who seemed wonderful, but overpriced. I met with several in New Jersey, but after looking at photos of their work, I felt some of them seemed "overdone" and not natural. In my research, I kept coming back to Dr. Rafizadeh. The photos of his patients always looked very natural and many people commented on his bedside manner. After meeting with him, I knew I found the right doctor for me. He immediately put me at ease and his rates were reasonable. More than a month later, I couldn't be happier with the results. I look like myself 10-15 years ago. All of my scars healed so nicely, I can barely see them. I have had several people ask me if I switched moisturizers or got some kind of new facial! I love several things about Dr. Rafizadeh. He has decades of experience, but still keeps up with all of the latest techniques. He also tailor fits his work to his patients - there is no "one size fits all" approach. He takes time to answer all questions and makes you feel at ease. Also I have to shout out his office manager, Chris, who couldn't be more lovely. In terms of healing, obviously everyone is different. For me, I looked fine the first day, and then blew up like a balloon on day two. I stayed pretty swollen for the next week. Swelling stayed until around day nine. By two weeks, it was much less noticeable. By three weeks, I looked back to normal, just much younger! I highly recommend ordering a wedge pillow off Amazon. I slept on that for three weeks. It helps with the swelling, but also it hurt to sleep on my ears until my stitches healed. After 3 nights, I got very used to sleeping that way. Now I am back to side-sleeping on my old pillows like normal.

I am beyond happy with the results of my facelift and truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience or outcome. I’m 66 and have had a few lifts in the past with different doctors over the years, so I was understandably hesitant about having more work done. But as someone who spends a lot of time on stage, I knew I wasn’t happy with the changes I was seeing in my face. I found Dr. Rafizadeh through my Botox doctor, who shared that one of her patients had used his services and was very pleased with the results. From the moment I had my consultation with him, I knew I had found the right surgeon. He listened carefully to what I wanted — tightening my jowl area without looking pulled or overdone. My goal was to still look like myself, just refreshed… and that’s exactly what he achieved. During the consultation, he also pointed out areas where some of my prior surgeries had not been done correctly and explained how he could help those areas look more natural. With his years of experience and strong aesthetic eye, he corrected three troublesome areas that I didn’t even realize could be improved. He has a wonderfully warm personality, and his office assistant/nurse Chris is lovely. I highly recommend him — especially if you’ve had prior facial work and want peace of mind knowing you’re in skilled, thoughtful hands.

My experience with Dr. Rafizadeh could not have been any better. He has a kind and caring personality. Aside from researching all of his testimonies and procedure photos, which were all exemplary, it was him as a person and his 40 years as a plastic surgeon expert that led us to decide on him. We had interviewed two other surgeons and walked of both of those meetings and knew immediately it was a no. It was because of how we were treated, it's just something you feel, like you are just another sale, and if they don't get your business, they have plenty others in line. With Dr. Rafizadeh, it was very different. It's a feeling you get when you meet with him, and if you choose to meet with him, you will understand.

5 stars is not enough! I'm anything but a "normal/typical" patient, I'm tough, a hard sell and do extensively thorough research; I consulted with 4 plastic surgeons & conducted much due diligence on each, Farhad being the 4th and who was referred by a friend whom he's worked on. From the onset of the consultation my gut feeling was this is the right guy, he mentioned several things the other 3 surgeons did not, and the other 3 were consulting more as "salesmen," rather than "real" surgeons. Farhad's demeanor, knowledge, experience and skill are undoubtedly second to none. I am beyond ecstatic with the life changing results of Farhad's highly skilled hands, he is truly a master of his craft. I & all those who know me could never have believed that such a huge "metamorphosis" was possible, but it is! Furthermore I experienced no pain or infection, minimal bruising & swelling, so much so that I believe Farhad was as surprised. Even more impressive is that he & Chris came in on Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend to remove the sutures. I'm definitely not one who is easily impressed nor one to give referrals, however I cannot say enough positives about Farhad & Chris, the incredible life changing results speak for themselves, if you're wanting/needing plastic surgery, this is absolutely the office to engage.

I will start by saying I am private person (and have therefore not included pictures) and have never written a review. But I would be remiss if I didn't submit a review on Dr. Rafizadeh. Like many, I was nervous when it comes to plastic surgery. I started going to Dr. Rafizadeh for fillers/botox at 40. Over time I knew I wanted to dive into surgery. My seemingly IMPOSSIBLE parameters? I want to look better, not different. Younger, not fake. I want to change things, but not so much that anyone would notice. Oh, and with my social calendar I needed very minimal post-op downtime. Not the easiest ask!! Well, I am here to tell you that after 10 years and 4 surgeries (lower blepharoplasty, breast implants, lip lift, and facelift) I got the EXACT results I hoped for each time. I remember being on this site pouring over photos and reviews. Every surgery I had with Dr. Rafizadeh drastically surpassed my expectations that I had, comparing to countless profiles and "after" pics online. The reasons I attribute to these incredible results are simple: 1. Physician skill 2. Physician experience 3. Physician's aesthetic Dr. Rafizadeh's skill allowed me to walk out of surgeries with the best post-op experience possible. Example? I was 1 week post facelift with ZERO bruising and minimal swelling. I was out to dinner 5 days post procedure. Fact! His extensive experience clearly provides him with all the best techniques to maximize results, all the while allowing his patients to walk away with virtually NO scars. Truly incredible. Lastly? Dr. Rafizadeh has an incredible eye. It should come as no surprise that he is an artist. Both his aesthetic and taste level are incredible, thus allowing him to give beautifully natural results, leading to very happy patients! I am extremely particular with very high standards. Those standards were exceeded by Dr. Rafizadeh. I couldn't recommend him highly enough with every service from injectables to the most complicated of surgeries. I hope this review helps anyone who is looking for a surgeon who you can trust to give you beautiful results that will be right in line with your loftiest expectations!

I had a great experience!! My philtrum was a bit long at 17mm after my rhinoplasty. I tried lip filler, but it just ended up migrating and making me look weird. I am so happy I made this decision. I feel like I look years younger (turning 40 in a few months). My scar is barely visible and healing very well. Dr Rafizadeh is a very skilled doctor!!! Highly recommend.

Dr. Rafizadeh is a surgical genius and my hero. I came to him after many years of dealing with complications from a previous surgery. He was compassionate, took the time to hear my story/history and devised a plan for treatment that put my concerns to rest. My first concern was the medical aspect of my condition (entropion of the eye that means the eyelid folds inward, resting against the cornea). It was quite painful and had over time created considerable restrictions on my lifestyle. Dr. Rafizadeh thoroughly explained the treatment he proposed to repair the eyelid that included bilateral lower lid blepharoplasty. The preparation and surgery were both seamless with virtually no pain and incredible results within days post-op. Not only did he correct the medical side, but he also gave me the gift of the beautiful eyes that I now enjoy. He has literally changed my life! I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Rafizadeh and his staff to anyone with medical concerns or just wanting to look their best.

I went to several doctors to give an assessment for facial rejuvenation. However, when I went to Dr. Rafizadeh and met him and his assistant, Christine, I knew I was in the right place.
