Will 400cc Hp Silicone Implants Be Good For My Body Type?
I am 5'6 @ 135 wear a 34A my breast are 12cm. i have seen two ps one has said i cant go any thing over 300cc yet the other said my starting point is 325 no more than 400. i am so unsure now i dont want to go to small, but i dont want to go to big.
A: Which size implants? The implant sizes that are possible for your breasts does depend on the width of your breast. We have implants with different projections: the more projected/pointy implants have a narrow base so that a larger volume can fit behind the breast. That is why you have a range of possibilities. To get an idea of how the size will look on you, we can use 3D imaging software, which is not available in all plastic surgery offices, or you can try on implant sizers to get an idea. You can also purchase Natrelle implant sizers directly from the manufacturer, Allergan.
Borderline Needing a Lift. Are Subglandular Silicone Implants Right for my Ptosis? (photo)
I've had consults with 3 PS's and am considering around 450cc silicone implants placed over the muscle. I don't want a lift at this time and one PS told me this would be my best option for a lifting effect without a lift. I don't have kids yet and would be open to a full lift in the future, instead of just having a circumareolar mastopexy now. Would HP or mod profile implants be best for upper-pole fullness? And would 450cc silicone in the subglandular position be appropriate for me?
A: Borderline Needing a LiftWhen you're in your spot, it is a tough call. You may find it helpful to look at before and after photos of patients with a similar breast shape after augmentation with and without a lift. Once you see what you can reasonably expect, you can make a more informed decision.
Can I Run my 1st Marathon 10 Mos After BA Surgery?
I had 350cc high profile implants put in Nov 2011. I'd like to run my 1st marathon in Oct 2011. I've already started running again, 4- 5 miles at a time with no pain. I want to make sure that training for and running a marathon will not cause any problems with my new breasts (i.e. sagging or changes in shape). I am 90 days post-op and my implants have not quite dropped to where they need to be.
A: marathon should be fineat this point, i do not see a reason not to run the marathon. wear a supportive bra especially since you're going to be training pretty heavily. otherwise go for it! it may take some time for the implants to drop and the swelling to go down. be patient.
