Pregnancy and breastfeeding can take their toll on the body, resulting in excess weight gain, sagging skin, and other issues that cannot be treated with diet and exercise alone. Many of my Bethesda, Maryland patients opt for the mommy makeover to restore and improve the appearance of the abdomen and breasts through a combination of two or three procedures. Depending on the patient’s needs, the mommy makeover may include a breast augmentation, a breast lift or breast revision, liposuction, and/or a tummy tuck.
During pregnancy, the abdominal muscles can become stretched. A tummy tuck, also called an abdominoplasty, repairs the muscles while removing the extra skin and tightening the area to reveal a dramatically improved silhouette. This can be combined with liposuction to remove stubborn pockets of excess fat in areas such as the abdomen, buttocks, arms, thighs, hips, and more. Both of these procedures can be done with a breast augmentation and/or breast lift.

First, we will meet to discuss your exact aesthetic goals; then, we will figure which areas to target for improvement and what that will entail. This might include treating the forehead and upper area of the face, the eyelids, the midface, or the cheeks and neck. I cannot say enough about Dr. Magge, after my deep plane facelift! I also had, at the same time, a lip lift, lower eye blepharoplasty and peri-oral laser treatment.
