Is It Possible to Get a Second Arm Lift?

i had arm lift done 4 years ago due to weight loss, i have lost more weight, i was considering another arm lift. can i get another arm lift? i have loose skin.

A: revision surgery after further weight loss

Yes, most procedures performed to remove excess skin after weight loss can be redone or revised.  When you gain weight your skin doesn't stretch but you actually make new skin so as you lose weight the skin has a limited potential to shrink up.  Arm reductions can be redone but the incisions may be longer.

After Upper Arm Lipo 3 Yrs Ago the Fat Now Feels Soft and Jiggly. Is Brachioplasty Right?

I had liposuction done 3 years ago. My upper arms were big but firm. Now they are softer and jiggly. I regret doing it. Especially since they are still big and when my arms are down they look soft and dimply like cellulite thighs but upper arms. And now the skin droops and almost looks fatter over my elbow. I'm not sure if a Brachioplasty is right because it's not just the skin that is loose, there is a lot of soft fat in there too. What would you recommend?

A: treatment of loose skin after liposuction

Arm reduction surgery involves removing excess loose skin eith with a smaller incision in the arm pit or more commonly an incision along the arn to or past the elbow.  All decisions are based on how much skin there is so photos would be necessary.  Be sure you really can deal with the incision to the elbow before proceeding especially if your goal is to wear short sleeved shirts because of the visible scar.

Is Liposuction Required for an Arm Lift?

i hate my underarm flapping skin. Was considering arm lift surgery.  However, it's not clear to me if I'd also need to get liposuction to get results. What is the best way to know ahead of a consultation if it will be necessary?

A: Liposuction and Arm Lift

Liposuction is often part of the arm lift procedure. The liposuction will remove the fat excess.

In some cases, where skin tone is good and there is not much skin excess, liposuction alone may provide excellent results.

If there is no extra fat, liposuction would not be performed.

For "flapping skin," cutting away the extra skin will be necessary, with or without liposuction.

During examination, your surgeon can determine if there is extra fat requiring liposuction by pinching the skin to assess the thickness of the fat layer.
