I cannot rate my experience with Dr. Teresa Cunningham and the entire staff at The Center for Cosmetic Surgery highly enough.
Before I scheduled my initial consultation with Dr. Cunningham, I researched countless facilities and surgeons who performed lower face and neck lifts. The Center for Cosmetic Surgery seemed to fit all my needs and I made the trip from northern NY to Golden, Co.
I am so thankful I did.
During my first meeting with Dr. Cunningham, I was immediately impressed with her patient, thorough manner. I had so many questions and concerns. I really never thought I would ever take this step, though I had wanted to do so for a long time. It was hard for me to justify the cost (though it was very reasonable), I was worried about recovery time and I was terrified of looking like a “housewife”. Dr. Cunningham provided me with a realistic idea of what the surgery and recovery would entail. She also showed me “before and after” photos so I was able to decide to undergo the surgery.
Recovery was easier than I anticipated. It was not painful and I was able to go out in public after a week.
I am so pleased with the results. I would give them a rating of a thousand stars if I could.

Dr. Cunningham was amazing! I was very hesitant to have cosmetic surgery, but she was warm, welcoming and helped ease my anxiety. I cannot believe I waited so long to get my tummy tuck- it was so worth it! All of the nurses did a great job, and my results are everything I dreamed for. No more stretched out momma tummy and I'm back in a bikini after 20years!

Dr.Cunningham is fantastic. She takes a very personalized approach to my treatment and is amazing bedside. She does beautiful work and the follow up care is second to none. I would recommend her to anyone.

I have had the best experience with Dr Cunningham! Dr Cunningham was very easy to talk with from the initial consult to post surgery follow up. I had implants for years and had an explant 4 years ago that left horrible scars and deflated breasts. Unhappy with my breasts I decided to do Motiva implants with a scar revision. I had 3 other consultations. I am so happy I decided on Dr Cunningham. The results so far(8 weeks out) are beyond what I expected. I would recommend her

Dr. Cunningham & team made me feel so comfortable from the initial phone call to get my consult set up, all through surgery and recovery. Through every step of the process, I felt like I was cared for, listened to and in great hands.
I'm a pretty anxious girlie, so to be immediately be set at ease by the whole team made such a big life change feel like an exciting and fun process instead of a daunting one. I was able to ask a billion questions at every step, and all of them were answered patiently and compassionately, and it helped me feel so comfortable.

During my initial consult, I was able to decide what kind of implants would be right for me, and got to try out quite a few to get the size and texture just right (I didn't feel rushed at all through this process!)
After that, I spoke with a patient counselor, Andres Torres, to go over financing and scheduling. She also let me ask a bunch of questions, and helped me feel so at ease during this process, thank you Andrea!! It turns out they were able to schedule me for surgery a little over a week after my consult, and I had my pre-op appointment right after meeting.

I was super anxious the day of surgery (6am arrival time), but every nurse I met with, and the anesthesiologist, Dr. Ellis, walked me through each step of the process so gently so I'd know what to expect. They were all so sweet, patient and caring that my anxiety literally melted away with each interaction I had with them that morning. They even kept my feet and legs nice and warm with a heater while waiting to go into the OR.

I had never done general anesthesia before, and wasn't sure how it would go and was anxious about that too, but up until the point I was unconscious, I felt so cared for, and put at ease. Once I was in the recovery area slowly waking up, I was greeted with a wonderful nurse who helped me into consciousness with some meds, some water, and the literal sweetest bedside manor.

The staff walked my partner through everything that he needed to know to take care of me in recovery (how to help me up, what kind of medicine I would be taking, what to expect etc), and he mentioned everyone answered his many questions and helped him feel really empowered as a caretaker. After I was able to get dressed, I was helped into his car at about 9:30am and began my recovery journey.

I'm about a week post-op and I couldn't be happier with my results! Of course the girls will be a little swollen for a few months before they "drop and fluff" but I feel so at home in my body in a way I've never experienced before.

I'm so thankful for Dr. Cunningham and team for making every step of this process as compassionate as possible. If I had to do it all over again, I would choose Dr. Cunningham, and The Center for Cosmetic Surgery again, no question.

I’m so grateful to have found Dr. Cunningham! I originally planned to do a breast implant revision with her last year but postponed after getting pregnant. This October, she performed my explant under local anesthesia, and I couldn’t be happier with the results!

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Cunningham and her medical team. I had been wanted a breast augmentation for several years but delayed seeing a plastic surgeon as the surgery itself made me very nervous! I was recommended to Dr. Cunningham by a colleague, who had her breast reconstruction with her after battling breast cancer. I had consults from other plastic surgeons in the Denver area to compare my experience and to make sure I felt comfortable with the surgeon I chose. It was a no-brainer choosing Dr. Cunningham apart from the others. During my initial consultation she as extremely welcoming, explained and answered my questions about the surgery itself and gave me her recommendations.

My next 2 visits included choosing implant size (the most difficult part for me) and my pre-op appointment. She worked with me to ensure that I chose an implant size based on my desire look and was patient when I went back and forth between sizes. She sent my prescriptions over to my pharmacy before my surgery to ensure that I was organized and ready for the day of.

The day of my surgery was a breeze. This was my first time receiving general anesthesia and I was very nervous leading up to my surgery. My pre/post op nurse was kind and couldn't say enough good things about Dr. Cunningham - which is a true testament to a surgeon! My pre-op was quick, I met my anesthesiologist (also very friendly) and explained my nervousness. The entire team provided me with lots of reassurance and the surgery was over before I knew it. I was her first surgery of the day, arriving to the surgery centre at ~ 5 AM and discharged/home by 10 AM that same morning.

My recovery was extremely easy, with little to no pain. "Tightness" was expected but always manageable. Dr. Cunningham and her team had provided me with all my post op instructions 2 weeks before my surgery and met with my boyfriend in the lobby to go over it all again while I was in post -op. I was provided with a 24 hour emergency line in case I needed to contact someone. Her follow up appointments were organized by her front desk team and also went well. I went back to work (I am a bedside RN) 1 week after my surgery without any work restrictions.

I would highly recommend Dr. Cunningham to anyone looking for a plastic surgeon. As a woman it was reassuring to have another female operate on me, as I feel like she understood exactly what I wanted. Thank you so much Dr. Cunningham, you truly have the best team in Colorado.

I am 3 months out from a breast lift with augmentation and armpit lipo with Dr. Cunningham, and could not be happier with both my results and my choice of Dr. Cunningham as my surgeon. As someone who is exceptionally picky, I have been considering this surgery for years and have met with a number of other surgeons both in and out of state. From my very first meeting with Dr. Cunningham I knew I had found the right fit. I felt immediately comfortable with her - she is approachable, friendly, and exceptionally talented. I had a hard time deciding on procedure combo and then on implant size, and she made sure I never felt rushed and made time for me to come back multiple times to discuss all my options. She even rearranged her surgery day to accommodate me when I had flight cancellations getting back to Denver in time. As much as I loved all my interactions with Dr. Cunningham and her incredible team, I love my results even more. She truly masters the balance of anatomy and artistry, and has given me such a wonderful gift of confidence in myself. I cannot recommend her enough; she is the only surgeon I would consider in the future and have referred a number of friends to her.

Dr. Cunningham is amazing. I had several consultations with other surgeons in the metro Denver arra and immediately, I was most comfortable with her demeanor, bedside manner, and expertise. She helped me pick my ideal implant size and is a perfectionist when it comes to surgery. Her team is very responsive and it was easy to schedule and work with their patient coordinators. Would highly recommend her and her team at The Center for Cosmetic Surgery!
