Greenish Scab After Spot Treatment Photofacial. Is This Normal? (photo)

I had a spot treatment photofacial on a brown spot Friday. It rubbed up against something and peeled off that same night. It's now Thursday and has turned into a greenish colored scab. Is this normal? Do you think this will scar? Or should it flake off and heal correctly?

Green scab after photofacial

It is quite unusual to develop a green scab, and this would make me wonder if there might be some pus or infection there, so best to see your treating doctor for assessment, diagnosis, and proper treatment. ~ Dr. Benjamin Barankin, Toronto Dermatology Centre

Seek immediate examination from the peeling doc! Could be full thickness skin burn that needs treatment.
