my eyelid on my left eye has been like this since i was very young and my vision isn’t the best in that eye it’s alao a bit cross eyed. I wonder if surgery would help or just a waste

You have ptosis (drooping) of your eyelid. In your case, it sounds like it is congenital ptosis which occurs from the eyelid muscle not developing properly. Surgery is a great option to help open the left eye to achieve more symmetry.

This is not a cosmetic surgery, this is strabismus surgery. It can help but you're not going to find good responses on a plastic surgery website! I would look for a strabismus specialist to discuss this with.

Yes this is somethiing that is commonly addressed with eyelid surgery called ptosis surgery. The photographs you have posted are not really helpful. A straight ahead photo of both eyes is much more meaningful. Ultimately there is no substitute for an in person assessment. Also you need a fellowship trained oculoplastic surgeon for this work.
