For patients that have not had a previous rhinoplasty, I prefer the closed "no scar" approach. This allows me to take down a dorsal hump and also refine the cartilages of the nasal tip. I also trim down the septal cartilage to create an aesthetic "supratip break." I do not use packing. The incisions are totally on the inside of the nose where they are hidden.
It is hard to plan a rhinoplasty appearance based on only the two photos you sent. In general, the bridge looks ok, and maybe the tip is a little wide. The tip can be narrowed a little bit to decrease the roundness of the tip, and that should look good. Be sure to see a rhinoplasty specialist to make sure all of your issues are addressed.
From what I can see, your nose has a good overall structure, but certain refinements could enhance balance and facial harmony. The specific approach would depend on your aesthetic goals and facial proportions, but generally speaking, I would focus on:Refining the nasal tip — to make it more defined, symmetric, and proportionate to your facial features.Smoothing the dorsal profile — by reducing or straightening any hump and creating a natural, elegant bridge line.Improving the nasal base — if necessary, to narrow wide nostrils or adjust the columella for better tip projection.Enhancing breathing — ensuring both aesthetic and functional improvement, especially if you have any septal deviation or valve collapse. The goal of modern rhinoplasty is not to create a “different” nose, but to achieve a natural, balanced, and individualized result that fits your unique facial anatomy.I would recommend a detailed in-person or 3D consultation to design the most harmonious version of your nose while maintaining its natural character.Warm regards,Op. It is a bit difficult to comment on all the changes that I might suggest to the appearance of your nose without other views, however, I would suggest creating a bit more tip definition and narrowing, It appears that a subtle lift to the nasal tip and slight lowering of the nasal dorsum would also be of some benefit.
Without additional images I won't judge your profile look, the dorsal hump if it exists, the tip projection, etc, however these pictures show a typical boxy tip anatomy, with verticalized lateral cruras, poor nostril support, alar rim retraction and poorly defined large tip.A must for structure rhinoplasty, repositioning of lateral cruras, tip reduction and its redefinition with tip grafting, etc.Seek the advice of a surgeon experienced in these types of noses and advanced structure rhinoplasty gestures.
Changes to your nose to enhance its appearance should reflect your aesthetic goals. Areas that you could consider addressing during rhinoplasty surgery include the shape and size of your nasal tip, tip rotation, nasolabial angle, nasal width including nasal bones, and the overall symmetry of your nose.
Thank you for your question. To improve your nose, I would recommend a rhinoplasty that subtly reduces its overall size to better match your facial proportions. The nasal tip could be refined by reshaping the cartilage to create a more balanced appearance without making it look overly narrow. Since there’s a minimal septal deviation, a conservative septoplasty would help correct the internal alignment, improving both symmetry and potentially nasal airflow. If there is any mild dorsal hump or excess height along the nasal bridge, gentle reduction would smooth the profile while preserving natural contours.
Thank you for your question and for sharing clear photos—it’s evident that you’ve thought carefully about your features and what feels most aligned with your goals.Based on your photos, your nasal structure appears generally balanced and proportionate to your face. If you are seeking enhancement, a refined approach to rhinoplasty may focus on techniques that respect your existing harmony while adding definition or softness where desired.Depending on your anatomical goals, here are a few options that may apply: • Tip Rhinoplasty could address specific concerns related to definition, shape, or subtle rotation of the nasal tip—ideal if you’re looking for refinement without altering the bridge. • Ultrasonic Rhinoplasty (Piezo) is a modern method that allows for bone reshaping with minimal trauma, especially useful in precise dorsal work if you’re concerned with contour or a small dorsal irregularity. • If breathing is also a consideration, septoplasty or internal valve support can be combined without compromising aesthetic goals. If you’re considering subtle changes, a preservation rhinoplasty might also be worth discussing—it maintains natural structures while achieving a refined, elegant result with less swelling and faster recovery.A comprehensive in-person evaluation would help determine the ideal technique tailored to your face and expectations.Wishing you clarity and confidence on your journey,Op. Based off your photos - (many views are not provided which limit this assessment and no physical exam) your dorsal aesthetic lines are pretty symmetrical and can be left alone if desired. As for the tip - can be narrowed and the angle raised a little to project your tip (by using grafts). Your lower lateral cartilages can use a little trim to further help reduce bulk around the lower area of your nose. No osteotomies needed unless you wanted to slim your dorsum a little or correct any asymmetries not seen from the limited photos. Minimal work needed.
A slight curve can be created while refining the dorsum, and the tip will be lifted with enhanced definition. This represents an ideal profile for a feminine nose shape; however, our goal is always to customize the nose shape to ensure it harmonizes beautifully with your facial features.
