I Had Bad Permanment Makeup Done Two Weeks Ago, is It to Soon to Have Them Corrected. I also notice that my eyebrows have nt grown back it's been two weeks
Permanent make-up is the micro-implantation of pigment usually for eyebrow, eyeliner, or lip enhancement. When implanting pigment to the eyebrows the hair follicle should not be disturbed as the root of the hair is below the level pigment is implanted. In my experience there is no loss of eyebrow hair either temporary or permanent. It is difficult to know how best to advise you as you didn't say if you were unhappy with the shape or color of the brow. Before you pursue any attempt to remove the pigment consult either the technician who did your original work, or if you have lost confidence, a reputable technician who operates in association with a dermatologist or plastic surgeon. Removing the pigment with a laser will certainly destroy the root of the hair and may cause scarring. I would not proceed with laser tattoo removal unless all other avenues of remedy have been pursued.

Permanent make-up requires the implantation of tattoo ink into the deeper layers of the skin. The ink is scratched into the skin with fine needles. Initially the involved area will be much darker than the expected final result. After about two days the darker dead layer of surface skin will peel off and leave the desired permanent pigment result behind.
If bruising occurs it resolves in 5-7 days. Swelling should last only the day of treatment. Often times a touch-up is needed a month or so after treatment to get the best result. Always look for an experienced permanent make-up technician who operates under the supervision of a dermatologist or other physician experienced in dealing with matters of the skin. Your results should be beautiful and lasting!
About cosmetic dermatology: I want to have a Permanent makeup on my lips. But I'm an older lady and I have wrinkles surrounding my lips, they are little vertical lines all around the lips.
Would anyone know whether these vertical lines or wrinkles around my lips would interfere with the end result of a good permanent lip makeup? Thanks ever so very much!
The problem with the vertical lines around the lips is that regular lipstick will bleed up into those lines. Permanent make-up will help solve that problem. There are a few things that can be done to improve those lines prior to the permanent make-up procedure which will make it easier for the tech.
Consider a CO2 laser resurfacing procedure around the mouth area. This will substantially smooth those lines. Tissue filler, like Restylane or Juvederm, will temporarily smooth the lines. The permanent make-up technician should have no problem implanting the pigment even without pre-smoothing the lines but the final result will be more pleasing if those lines are addressed.
I would also recommend you select a technician who works with a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon to ensure a safe experience and a quality result!
