Deep Lateral Lines Under Eyes- Other Options?

i had botox on my eyes,it cleared up the lines at the sides of my eyes, but the lines underneath my eyes, and wrinkles that run undre my eyes.and from the side of my eyes in straight lines down to my cheek bones r so bad,and i have been told they dnt do botox under the eyes, how can i clear up ths problem, i look so old and its making me unhappy!!

A: where botox fails

Botox is good for the lateral ines, but used underneath the eyeld can lead to drooping of the lower lid or ectropion. You may wish to consider lower eylid laser resurfacing or chemical peel which which help to tighten fine lines or wrinkles.  You may be a candidate for lower eyelid blepharoplasty  if you have too much excess skin.  A board certified plastic surgeon can help guide you through the options.

Nothing can or should get rid of the lines completely,  too much skin tightening and th lower lids can pull down, but a balance can usually be found.

Do New Wrinkles Require Dermal Fillers or Just Botox?

I am in my mid-30s and have just noticed some new wrinkles on my forehead as I tend to raise my eyebrows a lot. If they are new, slight wrinkles and not deep do you think I will need a filler or should Botox be enough?

A: Botulinum is best!

Dynamic wrinkles in the forehead are best treated with botulinum injections (Botox or Dysport) and you are the perfect age for obtaining wonderful benefits from this treatment.  Just about 6 injections with a tiny needle will smooth your forehead and relax those lines that concern you.  Talk with either your plastic surgeon or dermatologist about this and you'll soon find how safe, effective, and ideal this treatment is.  Enjoy!

Best Face Cream After Botox?

Do you get a face cream with Botox? Is there an aftercare treatment that I should use to keep the wrinkles from returning?

A: Facial lotion after Botox?

There simply is no topical cream currently available that will mimic the effects of subdermal botulinum injections.  As for what to put on your skin after Botox injections?  I tell patients to resume their medical skin care regimen 24 hours after their injections, and this should include a nightly retinol product, and SPF each morning.  Other items, like moisturizers or antioxidants are fine too.  Now that you're keeping your forehead muslces smooth & relaxed, you should make sure the overlying skin looks its best too!
