When Can I Get Back to Weight Lifting and Surfing After a Brazilian Butt Lift?

I have heard many different views on when it's ok to exercise post BBL but none directly relating to surfing?

A: What is possible after Brazilian Butt Lift and what is best are sometimes different...

Hi there-

While I think it is possible for you to exercise as soon as 3 weeks after your Brazilian Butt Lift, if you were my patient I would ask you to wait significantly longer than this, and the exact time would depend on your progress through the recovery period and your examination on your follow up visits.

In other words, I think it is important to tailor the postoperative regimen to the patient's needs and progress, but there is no question in my mind that in order to achieve the best outcome you should be patient and not risk losing any of those precious fat cells.

How Much Time Should I Allow Between BBL and then a TT with Breast Lift/Augmentation?

hi, I need a full tummy tuck(most probably), breast lift and maybe implants with that lift, also i would like to have a brazilian butt lift. now cant do all these together for many many reasons. now if do the BBL first how many months do i have to wait to do the lift/aug and then the tummy tuck? also what is the max amount of time to be under general to be safe?? thanks for your answers very much apperciate all of them.

A: Sequencing Brazilian Butt Lift with Breast Surgery and a Tummy Tuck

Hi there-

Because to some extent the outcome of your Brazilian Butt Lift will depend on the amount of fat available, and because as a tummy tuck is a more invasive procedure, I would always recommend doing the BBL first.

Once you've healed and your swelling has subsided (3 months), you could pursue your tummy tuck and your breast surgery. I would never do either a breast enhancement procedure or a tummy tuck on the same day as a BBL, because lying on your new breasts or tummy (in order to avoid lying on your new bottom) will hurt and might compromise your outcome. On the other hand, because your breasts and your tummy are on the same side of your body, there is no problem doing them on the same day.

The length of the operation absolutely affects its safety, and this cannot be denied. There are now many well-done studies proving that the longer an operation is, the greater the risk of multiple complications, including some very serious ones. While there is no magic number, and to some extent the risks depend on your health and the details of your surgery, most of these studies and experienced surgeons agree that if your operation is longer than 6 hours your risks are higher and you should probably spend the night in the facility for optimal monitoring and management of your early postoperative course.

This is one of the points that most patients do not completely understand, but that can affect their safety and outcome significantly. Your choice of surgeon will affect all of these details because some surgeons are more efficient than others- make sure that your safety is always your highest priority and that what you are told is what is in your best interests and not just in the best interests of your surgeon.

The procedures you are contemplating are wonderfully transformative, and have a very high rate of patient satisfaction- but all of them are surgery after all, and you are right to be asking these questions.

Seriously Considering the Brazilian Butt Augmentation, What is the Price Range for this Procedure?

I'm 21 years old. I weight 124lbs and I'm seriously considering getting the Brazilian butt augmentation. I'm a 34D and my waist measures about 33 and my hips 36 I feel like my body has no shape. Every time I gain weight I only gain it in my stomach and no where else my legs are skinny n I dont feel like I have much of a butt, so I feel like this surgery would be perfect for me. I wanted to know about how much is it? And if it's financed how much would you have to put down and how is financing?

A: Brazilian Butt Lift Costs and Financing

Hi there-

The costs of a Brazilian Butt Lift (as with any other aesthetic procedure) will vary greatly depending on your region of the country, the length of time your operation will take (some of these procedures take me longer than others), and who does it. Just like with anything else where the skill and talent of the person you hire matters (accountants, lawyers, architects, photographers...), the best surgeons- those who reliably produce the best outcomes- will also generally be a bit more expensive.

I think the ranges of costs my colleagues have quoted are fairly accurate- with fees ranging between $8000 and $14000 in good hands.

I am aware of many surgeons charging considerable less than this, but it is also these doctors who say they can perform the procedure in 2 hours... IMHO, a well-done BBL simply could not possible be performed in this time period- and so the adage that you get what you pay for holds true.

There are many financing options available, and these also will vary according to the preferences of the office you choose.

Find the surgeon who can offer you the highest level of safety and the very best outcome. Price should be important, but not as important as your safety and how happy you are with the outcome. In other words- if you spent a bit less but have a complication or don't look as good as you could have, you'll wish you hadn't been so focused on price... While on the other hand, if you have to spend a little more, but have the beautiful, round bottom you dreamed of to enjoy the rest of your life, you'll probably think it was the best money you ever spent.
