Improving crepey skin on arms

This can be improved with chemical peels, topicals, and sometimes lasers. Infini can also be used here. The associated problems, for instance pigmentation, need correcting as well to improve the overall appearance of the skin.

Wrinkles of arms?

Dear earnc1031:

For thin skin that is crepey and wrinkled on the arms or legs, a very common problem, I recommend starting out with daily application of a strong glycolic acid-containing lotion. The concentration has to be high and the pH low (acidic) for it to be effective. Daily application for months will make a big difference, and even after the first application the skin feels much smoother, but for more profound changes including thicker, less sun-damaged, more even-toned, and more hydrated skin, months of use are required. It is very important you use a sunscreen with micronized zinc oxide when in intense sunlight to prevent further aging of the skin from the sun.

For more dramatic changes, Pellevé using the PelleFirm hand piece is effective.

   All the best,   Dr. Clark

What works for thin wrinkled skin on the lower arms?

Thank you for sharing your question.  Without photographs it is difficult to offer definite advice but in most cases wrinkled skin will require some form of skin resection procedure, such as an arm lift to achieve a firmer overall appearance.  Hope this helps.
