Words can not express how elated I am with my results. Dr. Lakin is a consummate professional. I spent 2 years reading every comment in fb groups to find the best surgeon in Michigan or if I should travel to Miami. Dr. Lakin's name came up a several times. Illuum staff is extremely professional. From the very beginning first phone call & all the way through. I had to call back with questions I didnt think of during pre op appointment, they answered my questions cheerfully. (Sometimes med office staff are a bit snippy). Even though I always showed up early, I never had to wait and was taken taken in right away. I was expecting way more pain. I was already up and around within 48hours. Dr. Lakin must have magic hands. All of the other 5 star reviews are so deserved. The only downside- I'll have to buy smaller pants ;)

I’m 61 and very fit but never quite could get my abs to a true 6 pack level.So when I said to myself..what the hell…you only live once..why not have great abs?…I did my research. I’m in the advertising business and travel often to plastic surgery meccas like LA and Miami..so I see some of the best examples of enhancing the human physique. When I really dug into researching the best of the best at abdominal etching/lipo I found Dr. Lakin online. His transparency of sharing results (photos) and his incredible amount of positive reviews…I could tell he is the real deal and a surgeon who approaches his work as an artist and a perfectionist..especially with Ab etching…he even has had custom cannulas (precision suction tool) made for his artistry. Once I met with Dr. Lakin I truly knew he was genuine, caring, and his passion for this particular procedure makes him the very best anywhere. I could have had this done in LA or Miami but honestly a trip to Novi Michigan for Dr. Lakin was the best decision I could have ever made. I’m one month out and my recovery has been smooth and my results are kinda insane already! I just had my one month follow up with Dr. Lakin and he was very pleased with my results already and gave me the green light to start working out again…I am so pleased with the transformation Dr.Lakin has helped me achieve. I’ve always been a very active person ..who sure… I work out to be healthy and fit but let’s be honest…a little vanity always comes into play when it comes to having an active fitness focused lifestyle. I’m now more motivated than ever to work out and magnify his incredible work…Thank you Dr. Lakin for giving a 61 year old dude the abs he always wanted!;) Oh his entire staff is incredible too!!! So professional while making you completely comfortable and they make it fun actually. I had lipo 360 and a bbl by Dr lakin and he did an incredible job! My self confidence has increased tremendously and I’m finally at a place where I feel comfortable and confident wearing a bathing suit and tight clothing in public. I had a full tummy tuck and liposuction with Doctor Lakin 4 weeks ago and I am loving my results. He has completely transformed me. I had narrowed my search down to a surgeon in Mexico City, Los Angeles, Calgary Alberta, Toronto Ontario, and Novi Michigan. Dr Lakins before and after photos won it for me. And then I met his staff. All very professional, and caring. Stop your search if you are looking to have work done. I am 5 days post op, I have had very little pain since waking from my surgery, my incisions are clean, and I am ecstatic with my results. I took pain meds for 2 days only!! He is such a gentle surgeon, and truly cares about your goals after surgery. I cannot say enough good things about the entire experience.

Where do I start? I had heard great things about Dr. Larkin’s skills and expertise, but I have to say he exceeded my expectations at every level. I had a tummy tuck procedure done with him in Jan of 2025 and I am 6 weeks out today. My journey with him and his staff has been more than five stars from the beginning to end. I had consulted with several surgeons before discovering Dr. Laken, and right from the consultation day I knew he is the one to do my surgery. Dr Laken has surgeon qualities that makes any patient feel comfortable and confident to do a procedure with him. He was realistic with his explanations and I loved his demeanor. I would first like to say I’m not new to plastics. I had used a previous surgeon to do many procedures and I would say 75% needed to be redone. I had lost over 135lbs and had a lot of excess skin to be lifted. I did a lot of research as the last surgery I needed was a lower butt lift. Not all surgeons do this procedure properly and the photos and reviews of Dr Lakin were impressive. I made an appointment for a consult and he took his time to explain the procedure and answered all my questions above and beyond my expectations. I scheduled to have it done. The morning of surgery he put me at ease as he drew all his lines so incredibly like an artist to canvas. His staff were so attentive also. One thing is he is a perfectionist and takes multiple pictures. I am so glad as I cannot believe the results. The suture likes were so thin and I had zero bruises. That alone was unbelievable. I am 3 months post op and I couldn’t be more pleased. I will be scheduling to have my revision done this year of my inner thigh. Thank you Dr. Lakin and staff. I give you above 5 stars!!

I had a great experience with Dr. Lakin. I have a smaller frame at 5’6 and 100 pounds. I wanted to increase my breast size significantly but get natural results with a slightly augmented look.
