I had breast augmentation at 17, I'm 35 now. The shape of the breast and scars are almost identical to what they were since I had the operation. I always hated the scars. In fact, a few months after the procedure, they re-did them and since then they stayed as they are. They always show under bras and the area is completely numb, which is a weird sensation. The implants are in good condition, so I don't need a replacement but as I'm getting older I would love to make them smaller. I believe I had 450cc of silicone gummy bear implants. I would love to have maybe half the size if I did replace them. My main concern is, if the pocket is made smaller, the scar would be even further away from the breast fold. I cannot afford putting the implants lower as I think they sit already slightly low so my nipples would be out of position. I am 1.58 CMS tall (5'2') Weigh 45 kgs, 99 pounds What is your opinion: 1: if I kept the same size, is there anything on the shape or position of my breast that needs improving? Can the scar be moved upwards somehow? 2: Can I do anything now on these old scars to improve? 3: What would the outcome be if I wanted to get a smaller implant? What's the lowest I could expect to go with the current scar position? Could it be moved upwards to the new and higher crease fold? 4: I also have some rippling when my chest is parallel to the floor on my outer sides and on the left inner side when leaning to the left. How can that be improved?

Answer

My left incision seems fine whereas my right incision is having some sort of white discharge. I took these photos after the shower, since the steri strips are wet you are able to see through them. I dried them with a blow dryer after taking these photos, as I was instructed to by my PS. I am unable to ask my PS in person because I live out of town. There is 0 pain or heat around the incision or breast. Also, I was put on antibiotics after my surgery, but have already completed them.

Answer

When comparing how the two procedures differ, is it realistic to hope for the same "narrowing" waist shape with the circular TT and corset shaping to avoid the linear scar of the FDL?

Answer

Wondering if i need an extended TT because I dont habe concerns on my lower back or sides, just the front of my hips and abdomen. Is that still extended?

I am a female turning 50 yo. I had my 1st rhinoplasty at 18 yo. I wanted my nose to become thinner and shorter. I was happy with my nose after the surgery when I didn't smile, but when I would smile-my nose would twist to the left...My surgeon told me that he would have to take a cartilage from my ear and put it inside my nose. I've remembered that another patient next to me was complaining of having a flat ear after that procedure, so I decided to try another surgeon. So, 12 months after the 1st rhinoplasty I had a revision. The surgeon didn't explain how he would stop my nose from twisting during me smiling, but reassured me I would be fine. I saw a cartilage in a jar in the nurse's hands just before my surgery, so I realised that it would be inserted inside my nose. The surgery was badly botched, the nose became horrible. I knew if I waited for 12 months, I could have another revision. I went to the 3rd surgeon. He hardly changed anything. I think he just lifted the skin, got horrified and put it back on, as I didn't see any change in the shape or form afterwards. However, the nose became blue and it was blue for years. I had laser done to make the skin on the nose become less blue and to remove red huge capillaries on the nose. I used to smoke at the time (nobody asked me if I did), which worsened the blood flow even more. Thick scars appeared where nostrils are supposed to be. Now, 30 years later, is it worth doing the 4th revision or my scars can become worse?

Answer

I had septoplasty and tip only rhinoplasty in July 2018. I had some swelling the two years after that went away until 2024 after I started accutane in 2020. In 2024 my nose began swelling a lot mainly on one side. Finally in fall 2025 I got a keloid injection and my Nose was perfect for 8 months. When it got hot out, not sure why, the swelling returned. However it’s not nearly as bad as it was and is very close to just right. I am going back on accutane for my back acne in two weeks and wonder if this might correct the situation again. I am open to another keloid but just learned about the risk of blindness. Is that only with an injector who isn’t skilled or are you risking that every time you get a keloid injection? I will definitely not do it again if that’s the case, that’s not worth it.

I'm 38, have had 5 pregnancies (1 c/s), and have lost about 100 lbs. This has resulted in significant skin sagging everywhere, and loss of volume in my butt. I'm 5'4" and about 120 lbs. I initially was thinking of getting a BBL, followed by a separate tummy tuck - the main reason being concerns about recovery (how to sleep when you can't lay on your tummy OR your butt?). It also seemed logical to me that you would want to have some fat in your abdomen to harvest for the BBL, so I was planning to do the BBL first. But when looking at patients with similar body types after significant weight loss, it seems like lower body lifts are being recommended. I'm fairly certain my butt is too saggy to "re-inflate" from BBL fat transfer alone, and that no matter what, some kind of traditional "lift" will be necessary for my butt, due to all the loose skin. Would I be a candidate for a lower body lift? Can a lower body lift be combined with BBL? The loss of butt volume is my priority concern (TT would be secondary), and it seems like a lift alone would help tighten up the skin, but would not help with butt volume. What procedure(s) might help give me the results I am looking for?

Answer

the left side is unedited, the right side is my edited ideal outcome. would this be a possible outcome from a bbl?

Wondering if it’s possible to have a partial hysterectomy and abdominoplasty at the same day?

I am 2 1/2 weeks post op from a full tummy tuck and breast augmentaion a and feel great. I'm walking strait up and back at work. This morning I felt the need to stretch before I got out of bed and felt a pop under my left rib with slight pain. I didn't stretch real hard, but now I'm worried I may have torn something. I haven't noticed any bulges or bruising, is it possible I did real damage? I don't want to call my doc on the weekend.

I have been intersted in having a mommy makeover for 6 years now. I am a 48 year old AA female. Soon to be 49 in 1 week. Overall healthy no issues, no medications other than vitiams. I had a gastric sleeve in 2016. My highest weight was 274. My current weight is 183...I have been in a 7 pound window for the last 6 years. I had 3 c-sections 1999,2000 and 2009. Partial hysterectomy in 2011. I have all the usual issues having kids and weight loss. Ideally I would like to have a mommy makeover and tackle everything at once. And recover from 1 surgery instead of multiple ones. I want lipo, tummy tuck and breast lift..with a fat transfer because I lost a considerate amount of destiny in them. Over the years I have been told that 1) cant have all those procedures done at the same time 2) I need to have breast reduction 3) they suggest a lower body lift. The body lift seems like more of major procedure than what I want and I can't get my breast done at the same time. I really want to be 1 and done...I dont wanna rack up debt for multiple surgeries. I am content with my current butt size and shape...I know the body lift will give it a little toot, but thats not my main priority. I would really like to know if it's possible to really have the procedures I want....or do I need multiple surgeries to achive what I want. I appericate you reading to the end and I welcome all feedback. Also I forgot to add that i also am very content with my current breast size 38F. So no reduction.

My breasts are about 34DDD+. It's hard to do any physical activities without them being painful. I have tried losing weight, but they still sag pretty low. What do you recommend I do? I can never go out comfortably without being self-conscious about how large they look in T-shirts. When I don't where bras they hurt even more. My breasts are flatter towards the top and most of the weight is low if that makes sense lol. Should I wait until I'm older and try to fix it naturally or would surgery be the best bet?

Answer

I have had at least 6 consultations with different surgeons. I now am between two, however one wants to use a galaflex mesh “internal bra” and the other says that’s unnecessary. I am very worried about sagging in the long run, as the lack of sagging is one of the only thinks I really like about my small breasts. I have done a ton of research; and have come out the other end more confused. Is the mesh worth the possible additional complications? With two equally qualified surgeons telling me two different things, I don’t know how to decide.

Hello, I have received mixed opinions. My nipple is just above my crease. . I just want to replace volume and have a natural slope. Im 5’4 and 135lbs. I do NOT want the high round augmented look. Should i ask for a lift to prevent future sagging from implant?

Answer

How long does it take to start to see your result? Next week I'm getting a neck lift and mini lower facelift. I know I'll be bruised and swollen afterward, and I know it will take months to see my true final result. That said, is there an approximate period of time post-op after which you can BEGIN to visualize your result--when you begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel, results-wise? I want to know when I will start to see where things are headed. Thanks so much!

Hi, For many years I’ve had this excess facial skin, it makes my face look more fatter than it actually is. It’s not due to weight loss as I’ve more or less remained at a steady weight during my life. is there a procedure that can remove this excess skin on my face and under my neck. I’m 33, I understand I’m still young but I’ve had this excess facial skin for at least 10 years.

Answer

I underwent facial fat grafting one week ago, during which approximately 50 cc of fat was injected into my cheeks, temples, and nasolabial regions. As a result, my midface currently appears excessively full, and I am concerned that much of this volume may persist due to the large amount of fat that has been used. My main aesthetic concern is the laxity of my lower face and neck, including sagging along the jawline (jowls) and the presence of submental fullness (double chin). I am interested in a lower facelift to achieve better definition and tightening in this area. However, I am worried that a lower facelift could potentially make my lower face appear too narrow relative to my overfilled cheeks, resulting in an unbalanced or triangular facial shape. I would appreciate your assessment regarding candidacy and optimal timing for a lower facelift, given my recent fat grafting procedure.
