I started doing Botox in my late 20's as a preventative. Waiting til your older is not the best idea because the wrinkles are already set. Start young when you first see lines and repeat every 6 months. It's more than enough. I'm about to turn 44 and my face is smooth. Also, Fraxel is a great procedure also. Was a little apprehensive about having this done at first. Fear of unknown, pain and does it work? Am so glad I did it. Dr. Malouf was wonderful. The next day after procedure, I thought it was a complete fail. But am so happy to report that it has worked beautifully. more
I feel better without the Stupid #11 on my forehead. I have had one injection and am planning another. I did not know what to expect as far as painful is concerned but other than a little stick, it was not painful at all. It did take about three days before I could tell that it had really worked. more
I started having botox around my mouth and in my forehead in June of 2004. I go to an RN that works with a dermatologist..She is great. She gives me a little ice pack to put across my lips while she mixes it. I believe it took 15 years off my age (I didnt expect miracles) but I was happy with the results.
