Can Overuse of TCA Peel Cause Premature Aging?

I have been doing 15% TCA Peels to reduce my ice pick scarring. I haven't got the results that I want yet, but I am afraid of overusing the peel and causing premature aging. Is this possible?

A: TCA peels

15% TCA peels may not be strong enough to improve your acne scars, no matter how many peels you do. You may want o seek a professional opinion in your area so you may get a stronger peel for specific type ok skin color.

Hyperpigmentation from 35% TCA Peel. Should I Wait for it to Clear Before Getting Another Peel?

A Month Back I Had a 35% Tca Peel Which Left Me with Hyper Pigmentation. I am using 2% hydroquinone which is helping. Should I wait for it to clear completely before I have the next peel?

A: hyperpigmentation after TCA peel

It is very common to get hyperpigmentation after a TCA peel, although it sounds like you are on the right medication to reverse this, sometimes a stronger preparation may be required if your problem does not clear with the current dose.

How to Fix Scarring, Burns from Chemical Peel?

what to do with my face from a bad TCA chemical peel? seeing streaks, burns, scars!

A: Timing is key for treatment

The white areas are may not be a scar, but rather depigmentation from the peel.

You may try skin bleachers like hydroquinones to help blend the color differences. If the scars are red and raised, post balm or mederma may help.

Be sure to keep out of the sun and UV. Other things to consider would be silicone sheeting.

Take comfort that things should get better over time.
