From the moment I met Karen, the patient care coordinator, to the comprehensive education I received about my procedures, pre-surgery preparations, and post-recovery care, I was thoroughly impressed. Karen provided me with a detailed book that guided me as a patient, outlining what to expect before, during and after the surgery.
The surgical center staff was incredibly kind and supportive. Stacy and Lovi were particularly attentive to my needs. Both my surgical nurses were phenomenal. Unfortunately, I can’t recall the names of my anesthesiologist and post-recovery nurse, but they were equally excellent.
To top it off, someone from Dr. Brady’s office called me daily to check on my progress and answer any questions I may have had (Jennifer was a sweetheart). They insured that I had good pain control as well. I can’t express how positive my experience was with Dr. Brady and her team. There was one small hiccup with billing, Karen rectified very quickly and within 48 hours I had a refund as promised. As a healthcare professional myself, I strive for this type of excellence in my own practice. My mother, who has been a nurse for over 45 years, accompanied me for my surgery and continue to state how impressed she was with the professionalism and the kindness that was expressed during my care, Unfortunately, it’s not always the norm in the healthcare industry any longer.
