I was a 32A before BA, and now am a 32C/D. I've had 360cc salines subglandular for 5 yrs now. I had a baby and breastfed Nov 2008 and now I'm 25. I'm pretty sure I have good skin elasticity. I'm torn between just removing them, or removing with a lift. Really scared about the necrosis risk involved with the lift at the same time. What are your experiences with removing implants and not performing a lift? I don't want the added scars/cost/surgery/risks if I don't really need it.
This is hard to say without examining you, but you may need a lift after implant removal. The type of lift will be determined by how saggy your breasts are after implant removal. Many times, you'll have to go into the operating room with the possibity of needing a lift as we can only really see how your breasts will settle once the implants are out.
I had my breast implants removed a month ago and I'm really concered. My left breast is bigger than my right which is typically normal, but the left breast is hard. My right breast is soft and jiggly but the left breast has my really nervous. When I lay down my left breast feels hard like a thick layer underneath the fat of my breast tissue. I had my breast implants unders. What's wrong with my breast?
You may have scar tissue or fat necrosis causing the hardness. Because your breasts are so different, I would recommend going back to your plastic surgeon for a look to see if you may have an infection or fluid colleciton.
I am 20 years old and in July of 2010, so a year ago, I had breast augmentation. I was at around a 32 B before the surgery and I had 450cc saline implants put in on top of my muscle. I have had many doubts about them since and I am now considering getting them removed with no aditional lift after. I am curious to know what type of results I will get or if there is anything I can do to optimize my results.
You may need a lift after your implants are removed, but this can only really be determined once the implants have been removed in the operating room. Therefore, you'll need to discuss with your plastic surgeon the need for an intra-operative decision to perform a lift if it is needed.
