Dr. Shuster & Team Doctor Ronald Schuster is the most Awesome Plastic Surgeon in the US: Words cannot begin to express my gratitude for being part of my skin cancer journey. You were there every step of the way. I just want you to know that you truly have made a difference in my life for sure! Thank you too for being so kind and empathetic–you treated me like a VIP, you have cared about my well-being for the past 30 years. Thank you for “putting me my nose back together recently after having Mohs surgery.” Now that I feel confident in my own skin after your outstanding repair of that giant hole in my nose…it now looks much more normal now! Awesome job thank you so very much!!…All the best to you & your family.
Dr. Schuster's work has changed my life. He took me from a 40-something H bra size to a high C, low D. I requested for my breasts not to be too small, and he made them just the perfect size. He and his team kept me informed throughout the entire process. On the day of surgery, he called a few hours after I got home to see how I was doing. I told him I was in a bit of pain and he addressed the issue right away. Throughout my recovery, he's followed up with me constantly to check on healing. I feel comfortable at every appointment, and never hesitate to ask a question! I live in a different state and he even offers Telehealth visits whenever I need them. I couldn't recommend him more.
I was referred to Dr. Schuster by a friend and am so grateful for her recommendation. Dr. Schuster is gifted in his craft and has an impeccable bedside manner. I am extremely pleased with my results and Dr. Schuster’s care throughout my process. Office staff, particularly Kim and Debbie, were so nice and caring as well. If you’re considering any type of cosmetic surgery I highly recommend Dr. Schuster!
Dr. Schuster was very professional. He took his time explaining everything to me. He also provided suggestions to enhance my appearance. After surgery, he was very accessible to answer my concerns. I highly recommend him.
Overall I had a fantastic experience with Dr Ronald Schuster. He was professional, kind, knowledgeable, helpful and his work speaks for itself. To anyone out there who feels they need some kind of cosmetic surgery, it is safe to say that you are in great hands with Dr Schuster.
Everything was fantastic, from the initial consultation to the surgery to the recovery. Dr. Schuster is amazing at what he does and I’m extremely thankful that I went with him for my procedure. He’s real, he’s genuine, and he’s professional.
So I had my 1st rhinoplasty about 3 yrs ago in 2018 or around then unfortunately I failed to really research for a plastic surgeon, And instead of looking far and wide I went with some near my home. What a mistake Just because they are a plastic surgeon and because their Location is very close and convenient to your home does not mean you should go with them. Anyway The first rhinoplasty I found was near me in Syracuse NY. I thought he would be old due to hi professional mannerism. He had a stick up his butt when I met him. That should've told me a lot anyway my 1st rhinoplasty was with him (Dr. Kim Sang)...nothing bout my visit with him was outstanding or worth noting EXCEPT that he didn't even take down the bridge hump that I paid for and wanted most gone. So many months after m 1st surg I complained to him about the hump still being there and he said he would redo (do a revision) it for free. Well lo and behold after the 2nd surgery the only thing he did what was to make the bridge hump into two bumps instead of one and the Tip of my nose was even more bulbous it seemed and under the tip (columella) ithere was scar tissue I believe that's what it was that hung down. Maybe not apparent to most but obvious to me (The most important person to please). Anyway I knew already just months after having the 2nd surgery that I wanted another one because I was disgusted with Dr. Sang Kim's plastic surgery skills. And also that he had used his poor rhino plastic surg skills on me. Anyway I had no idea what to do because I didn't wanna go through the same mistake again, so I waited a couple years but kept looking for a surgeon. Eventually this year in 2021 I found a plastic surgeon in Baltimore Md (6 hrs frm my home) who had great reviews and many great reviews. In fact nothing but great reviews. Because he had not one bad rhinoplasty review, I felt he was the surgeon I was looking for. So I decided to give his office a call for a consultation. Anyways I went and met with him and was excited to get the ball rolling. His office was very good working around my time sched esp since I was coming from out of town. His scheduler Karen is the best she gave me detailed info about where it would be done and when also told me me what I would need to do to prep.for the surg She left no stone unturned knowing that I couldn't come right back in because I was so far. Her and Dr Ronald Schuster were very accommodating in that if I needed any question no matter how big or small answered I could call or email And they would get back to me as soon as possible. Fortunately for me for some reason I felt very secure in who I chose Plus I felt all my questions had been answered in the office therefore I did not feel the need to call or email. Anyway the day of the surgery for some reason I felt peace and very comfortable going into it and till no question except to remember to ask the doctor when I could start working out again. I remember closing my eyes while the anesthesiologist was administering the Sedtive (The doctors whole team was very comforting and reassuring, I was even told by one of the nurses that everyone in that hospital goes to Dr. Schuster for whatever they needed Or wanted done as far as plastic surgery wiise) and then waking up and asking if he the dr was going to get started and the nurse telling me he was done with the surgery already.. Boy was I happy. Anyway I have to tell you after the last surgery I didn't feel any pain at all, none, in the hump/bridge area While I was recovering, but this time I did feel pain Not much pain at all but I just knew that something had been done to that area. Also when I felt the pain I was nervous that the bump was growing back. Anyways 9 days after The surgery I went back I n for my first postop and to have the cast removed off my nose. Seeing it for the 1st time after Dr Schusters surg. I was so surprised at how much better (even though it was very swollen) that my nose looked. The hump was gone and finally after two prior surgeries I had a doctor that knew what he was doing and that wanted to please me (by doing what I requested and wanted) and not his ego! Today I'm in my 4th week of healing and the swelling in my nose has gone down even more with the massage therapy Dr Schuster has me applying to my new nose since my 2nd post op appt this past week on Tuesday. I had so much confidence in this Dr for my 2nd revision rhino and there was a reason why... Dr. Schuster certainly is the best Rhinoplasty Doctor! Wish I had researched and looked out of my area for a plastic surgeon the very firs time then I would not have had to go through this three times. . Trust me if you're looking for a rhinoplasty surgeon and you want it to be your first and your last rhinoplasty surgery then go with Dr. Ronald Schuster in Maryland. You do not want to go through this more than once!!... and Not because it's painful because a rhinoplasty is not that painful at all but Because 1st off you don't want to shell out more money for another surg. and 2nd when you look in the mirror after having your 1st rhinoplasty you want to feel good about yourself and not depressed every time you look in the mirror. And 3rd You don't want to lose your faith/confidence in doctors. And trust me having a surgery that involves you looking at your face every day will cause you to lose faith and trust in doctors if they are lacking in skills to give you the nose and the outcome you desire. Especially if it looks like you wasted your money for a Rhinoplasty that looks worse than before you had one. So whether it's your first rhinoplasty or a revision I recommend you look up Dr. Ronald Schuster in Luthervlle, Maryland.
I consulted Dr. Schuster for a revision septorhinoplasty after my primary surgery didn't give me the thrilling results I was hoping for. From my initial consultation to my post-op, I am extremely pleased with Dr. Schuster. I believe he is truly a master in his field. During my consultation, he confidently and honestly disclosed what he can deliver. I was very anxious as this was a revision surgery. Prior to my surgery, I emailed him continuously with my questions and concerns and he was very responsive. Dr. Schuster believes that good communication is the key to a successful procedure. I felt very comfortable after my procedure and the recovery was smooth and simple. I also believe his technique caused minimal bruising and my skin didn't breakout. I am extremely happy and thrilled with my results and I can breathe better as well. The successful functional component of the surgery also greatly improved my under eye bags. His office staff is very welcoming and phenomenal. Ms. Karen went out of her way to schedule a date that worked best for me. I couldn't be more thankful and grateful to Dr. Schuster for making me happy and making this my final surgery. Anyone looking for a rhinoplasty surgeon in Maryland/DC area, I highly recommend to have a consult with Dr. Schuster. Choosing him as your surgeon will give you the results you are looking for and will save you the hassle of a revision. Rhinoplasty happens to be his favorite operation and he excels in it. He is truly the nose man of Baltimore. Dr. Schuster knows exactly what to do to deliver the results. He listens to what the patient wants and then creates a plan. My only regret is that he didn't perform my primary surgery. I would have saved myself a lot of time, emotional health and money if I had done that. Thank you Dr. Schuster for a successful procedure. You are a true professional.
Almost all of us have an asymmetrical face. I have always had a baby face, very full cheeks and loved them, but as I grew older, I saw my face changing. I noticed one of my cheeks was much larger than the other. I desired more symmetry and to look more mature. I also look very young for my age and felt it will enhance my appearance if I removed my buccal fat. Dr. Schuster is pleasant, kind and thorough. My procedure was in September 2020. It is now March 2021 and I am impressed and pleased with my results!
I am 1 week out from my rhinoplasty with Dr. Schuster and I am unbelievably happy with the results. I was very scared to have any work done because I had never been under general anesthesia before, but Dr. Shuster and his team were very understanding and tried their best to make me feel more comfortable. I am so happy I chose Dr. Schuster. Being just a week out, I still am swollen, and even with the swelling I am impressed with the results. My nose just seems to fit my face so much better now! If you are searching for a rhinoplasty surgeon, I wouldn't hesitate to call for a consultation with Dr. Schuster- it was one of the best decisions I've ever made.
I think your goals are very reasonable. it looks like you have narrowed both the middle part, the tip and the nostrils. Even though you don’t currently mind the way it looks from the side, in order to get your nose to “look” more narrow from the front, it can require grafting of the dorsum even just a little, which will change the view from the side, just a little.. It is important for you to bring more photos of yourself, models or celebrities in order to communicate better what your goals are both from the front as well as the side. Go get some consults with rhinoplasty surgeons who enjoy performing ethnic rhinoplasty. Good luck.
It’s hard to answer accurately without photos. But in general it is understandable that your nose might look out of balance. Rhinoplasty could certainly be the solution. Good luck.
Your nasal bones are wide. Surgery will be the best options. Fillers cannot narrow the bones looking at you from the front. In fact fillers will make your whole nose look wider. From the side fillers used to “fill” the flat part will cause a hump, which in turn will require much more filler to smooth everything out. Good luck.
The fullness at the junction of the nose and upper lip can be caused by a few things. A prominent anterior nasal spine is possible but not as frequent as you might think. You should be able to feel the hard bone protruding. More frequently it is the caudal septum which is too long. Finally, the tip might be pulled too far forward causing. Tenting of the skin. All are easily fixed with rhinoplasty. This is where a good exam is really needed. Good luck.
Bromelain is the active ingredient in pineapple that help with recovery. I think helps more with bruising than general inflammation/swelling. I recommend taking it after surgery. Make sure you let your surgeon know everything you are taking and get permission before using any recovery supplements before and after surgery.
