Where to begin. This is the second surgery I had had with Dr. Owens and her team. I first had a breast reduction in early 2020 and this year (2025) after gaining and then losing a lot of weight underwent a breast augmentation, abdominoplasty, and modified arm lift. She is incredibly thorough, kind, calm, and detail oriented. I had SO many questions and whether it was over the portal messaging or during our pre/post op appointments, she and her team were always going above and beyond to make my experience the best it could be and answer ALL the questions I had. I am really happy with my results - still healing which will take some time but I feel really safe and trusting of Dr. Owens and her team. HER TEAM though - they are always what makes her office and her work so outstanding. Kim has been with her/me as long as I have been working with Dr. Owens and I am always SO happy to see her. She is so gentle, kind, and suck a rockstar on the team. Nicole and Sue are also FABULOUS. I had an amazing experience with Dr. Owens from start to finish. I had tummy tuck with muscle repair. Dr. Owens took time to answer every question I had and explain everything about the procedure. She is kind, caring, calm, and knowledgeable. She really goes above and beyond throughout the entire process- from pre-surgery to six month check ups. This procedure has changed my life, and I’m so grateful to Dr. Owens!

I would be sitting here writing for the rest of my life if I were to try to list all of the wonderful qualities about Dr. Kerry Owens and her team at Avalon Plastic Surgery. Where do I even begin? Dr. Owens is the epitome of a world class professional who provides her patients with an incredible experience from start to finish. It’s been about 6 months since my breast implant surgery, and I can honestly say that this is the best thing I’ve ever done. Dr. Owens has completely changed my self confidence and the way I feel about myself through this procedure that I am so grateful to have elected to do. To say her work was perfect is an understatement. From my very first experience with Avalon, which was scheduling a consultation through Theresa, I could tell I was going to be well cared for. During my consultation, Dr. Owens and Kim made me feel so comfortable and welcomed. They were comprehensive and detail oriented - in fact, I left the consultation with no lingering concerns. It was clear that Dr. Owens was highly experienced as she answered all my questions thoroughly. She listened to exactly what I wanted to ensure the goal result would align with my expectations and would be realistic given my starting point. I became so excited for my procedure date that I started a countdown. On the day of, Dr. Owens’ hospital staff and operating team were exceptional. The other reviews on this site as well as Dr. Owens’ surgical experience speak volumes - I had no nerves before the procedure because I knew I couldn’t be in better hands than Dr. Owens. She and her team displayed bedside manner that is the pinnacle of what qualities a medical team should have. I woke up absolutely thrilled and had a great recovery journey. My recommendation to any future patients who may elect for this procedure is to TRULY take the down time she recommends, even if you feel like you want to do more. It can be hard to sit still when you’re so excited about your new figure, but your body will thank you in the long run and you will reach your desired final (“settled”) appearance quicker. Over the next months, it was a pleasure to meet with Dr. Owens again for my post-op appointments and make sure that my recovery was happening as expected (or even better!). From beginning to end, Dr. Owens made me feel so honored and listened to as a patient that it almost made me emotional. She gave me exactly what I wanted. This is genuinely the best decision I’ve ever made. This procedure has transformed my life and my self image for the better. Though it’s only been six months, I can barely remember how I felt prior to the breast implants because I’ve been so happy and proud ever since. It’s really incredible that we live in an age where procedures like this are safely possible, and for those who want to do something for themselves, I couldn’t recommend Dr. Owens more. It’s magical how a small change to my appearance has made such a world of a difference for me, and I would not have done it with anybody other than Dr. Owens and the team at Avalon. For what it’s worth, I would have paid double for this amazing of a result (but the fees here are reasonable, competitive and doable for a wide group!). Avalon - thank you endlessly for this experience! I also did a Botox treatment with Dr. Owens during a follow up appointment. I am absolutely in love with the result! She kept my result looking soft and natural - again, listening to what I asked for perfectly - and I couldn’t be happier. Overall, Avalon Plastic Surgery guarantees an 100/10 patient satisfaction. You will not be sorry you scheduled with Dr. Owens!!!

I had a Tummy Tuck with muscle and hernia repair completed by Dr. Owens and she and her team are absolutely amazing! I felt welcome and comfortable from the moment I walked through their office doors for my in person consultation all the way through my final post op appointment. Dr. Owens did end up doing a small revision to the ends of my Tummy Tuck scar at my 6 months post op appointment after SHE noticed at my 4 month post op appointment that the ends were sticking up a little bit (a VERY little bit, hardly noticeable to me). This revision did not cost me an additional amount. Dr. Owens is extremely attentive, caring, and personable. She truly takes pride in her work and wants to ensure that her patients have the best possible outcome. They also have an all female team, if that is something that is important to you. I am beyond happy with my results - I have my core strength back and, as a result, am able to be fully involved in any and every activity my 1.5 year old twins want or need me to be. I would not hesitate to go back to Dr. Owens for any future needs.

Dr. Owens recently performed upper eyelid surgery and I’m extremely pleased. Dr. Owens is professional, kind and caring. I was made to feel comfortable during the entire procedure and follow up. I would highly recommend Dr. Owens. Dr. Owens and her team are very nice people who are very good at what they do.

Dr. Owens performed a facelift that gave me a youthful and very natural looking appearance. My “ Baltimores Best” Hopkins trained cosmetic dermatologist was so impressed she wanted to recommend Dr. Owens to her own patients.

Dr. Owens is a rare find in today’s convoluted medical system. Not only is she kind, approachable, and incredibly talented, but her staff also embodies the kind of warmth that is supposed to be at the heart of medical care. Run, don’t walk, toward Dr Owens. You can thank me later!

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Owens and her staff. She patiently walked me through the whole process with an ability to make me feel like she hadn't heard my questions a thousand times! She made me feel understood and heard and completely safe. The procedure went smoothly from start to finish and the office checked on me afterwards to make sure everything was ok. The results were just what I was looking for. The aftercare was phenomenal, and her staff treat you like family. I would choose this practice over and over again.

She is best doctor that I met take her work seriously. She followed up on me & always available when needed. She have the perfect staff to back her up. Specifically “Kim”. I ever thankful for making me pretty & enjoy every time I myself in mirror. Wish Doc best wishes.

Dr Owens and her staff are simply amazing. From the first visit I have felt so completely comfortable even in uncomfortable situations like when you are unclothing. Dr Owens is a highly skilled surgeon who literally put me back together. I feel so strong and my confidence has increased tenfold. I have not experienced any post-op complications and I believe that that is due to Dr Owens skill and care. Dr Owens stuck with me over several Years where health issues and Covid got in the way of being able to schedule the surgery. She proactively collaborated with my other doctors who are managing a chronic condition so that the surgery could happen, and could happen safely. She is patient, warm, and has such a genuine bedside manner that puts you at ease. Dr Owens and her staff listen, spend time answering all of your questions, explain all procedures and are realistic with what our expectations post up can be. She checks in throughout the entire process and celebrates all of the wins and successes with you. Dr Owens truly cares about you and is in the business of helping others become stronger and feel like themselves. The results speak for themselves! I cannot recommend Dr Owens and her staff highly enough.
