How Long Prior to Breast Reduction Surgery Would You Roccomend Your Patient to Be off a Weight Loss/appetite Suppressant Med Lik
Generally, I ask my patients to be off all weight loss supplements for 2-4 weeks prior to surgery and for at least that long after surgery. Your own surgeon will guide you as to his or her preferences. Concerns are interactions with anesthesia and healing after surgery.
Best of luck to you
I hear a lot about what is required for insurance coverage of breast reduction surgery. I also hear about how difficult it can be to find a surgeon who takes Medicare. I have both Medicare and a Medigap policy. Will this make it easier to get coverage?
At the time of your consultation the details of insurance and medicare coverage will be discussed. This will definitely vary from state to state. The only way to know for sure is to begin the process. The biggest problem is that medicare does not pre-approve anything so documentation is critical.
Am I a good candidate for breast reduction surgery? Would insurance be likely to cover it?
From your photographs it appears that you would be a reasonable candidate for a breast reduction. In most cases this would be covered by insurance but it will differ depending upon your policy.
