Honest, Meticulous, and Exceptionally Skilled Surgeon
I spent seven months searching for a knowledgeable, experienced, detail-oriented surgeon with a highly skilled artistic eye. After extensive research and interviews with countless surgeons, some of whom I found while others were recommended, I gave up on ever finding a qualified surgeon who could potentially relieve my chronic daily pain. Following a three-month break, I resumed my search and found Dr. Nelson Castillo’s practice—and what a breath of fresh air it was when I spoke

Amazing Surgeon, Even Better Person
I can't say enough good things about Dr. Castillo. I had gynecomastia surgery with him in Atlanta, and from the first consultation it was clear how much he cares about his patients. He listened, explained exactly what to expect, and never rushed me. His pre-op preparation was thorough. Every step was laid out clearly, so I walked into surgery confident and informed. The results are fantastic: a natural, flat, masculine chest, and the scarring is minimal. It's barely noticeable. His

Great Experience!
Dr. Castillo was very friendly and educated. He talked me through the whole procedure before, during and, after the chin lipo I had done. He was very patient in answering all my questions. Dr. Castillo did a great job of checking in during the healing phase, more than most doctors I know would. The scars are very minimal from my procedure and it looks very natural. Thank you so much Dr. Castillo for helping improve an area I’ve been insecure about for a long time!!

Incredible Experience
My experience with Dr Nelson and his team was nothing but excellent and I felt genuinely cared for through the entire process. I went into the consultation with little knowledge and very unsure of surgery, and left that day with an easy yes in going forward. Dr Nelson was thorough in explaining and helping me understand the process from beginning to end and I am so impressed and grateful with the results! His skills and care along the way made for very easy recovery. Will always

He Deserves All 5 Stars!!!
I cannot begin to express how pleased I am with the work that Dr. Castillo has done to make me feel happy with my body again. He definitely had his work cut out for him due to my previous surgeon doing a hack job on my breasts in 2021. I had my surgery just three days ago, so I am currently wrapped up. However, from what I have been able to see, I can already tell that he came through with exactly what I asked for: a fuller breast with a higher upper breast. I will come back

The Best Experience
I highly recommend Dr. Nelson Castillo for "nipple" inversion surgery. I worried that nothing could ever be done until I saw information on this Surgeon and his work. He has the best bedside manner and is highly qualified. I am a perfectionist and I would not hesitate to use him at all!

Mommy Makeover After Two 70lb Weight Gain Pregnancies
Dr. Nelson was awesome! I'm so thankful that Realself was where I originally found his information. I had a Mommy Makeover. I know I was lucky post-op to not have any complications, which can happen in instances through no fault of the surgeon, but I know that it largely was due to his technical skill. I had an extended operation with a number of different procedures and Dr. Nelson's results were out of this world. This was more of a once in a lifetime chance for me financially

Couldn't Be Happier with the Results!
My experience with Nelson Center for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Dr. Castillo and his staff was excellent. All of the visits, from my first consultation, through the post-surgery follow-ups were very friendly, informative, and professional. When one is considering any procedure of this nature, it’s common to wonder if you’re doing the right thing, and if you’ve chosen the most qualified practice. I can tell you that from my first visit on, I knew I’d made the correct choice.

Exceptional Care and Follow-up from Dr. Nelson
I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Nelson. From my very first appointment, his bedside manner stood out. He was calm, kind, patient, and made me feel completely heard and cared for throughout the entire process. Surgery and recovery can feel overwhelming, but his approach made such a difference. What impressed me most was how involved he remained after surgery. He followed up with me every day, checked in on how I was healing, answered my questions, and genuinely seemed

Nelson Castillo IS THE BEST
Doc was the best, I would call him a perfectionist! He told me everything I could expect during and after the procedure and I felt safe and secure. My results are everything I wanted! Breast implant removal with a reduction and lift. I am considering a tummy tuck next.
