Dr. Stephenson performed my breast reduction in 2020 and did a great job. He had good bedside manners and was very hands on from start to finish. I went back to him in November 2024 for a full tummy tuck and was once again very satisfied with my results. I see a total difference in my body and made the right decisions for me. He now has his own private practice with the sweetest assistant. They make a great team and make sure that you are comfortable and happy.
Dr. Earl Stephenson is a God send. I found out about him in a surgery group on Facebook. Two young women went to him, and they look Good..... I asked them several questions about Dr. Stephenson, and then he did a webinar in the Facebook group. He answered every question with integrity. I was very impressed. I made my appointment to see him. When I met him, he was so polite, and gave me real expectations about my body and what surgery was needed. He explained in great detail about the procedure, and recovery times. Fast forward SURGERY DAY........ I was marked up and explained everything about the procedure in detail again. He reassured me that I would be safe during the procedure. I had a breast lift, and tummy tuck with lipo to the flanks, and abdomen. I am so satisfied with my results. I am healing well. I love the care that I have received post op as well. Dr. Stephenson is a caring doctor, and you can tell he loves what he does. I am here to tell you that you will not have any regrets going to Dr. Stephenson, and the care that you will receive.
Hey guys! I’m 35 and have had 2 children. My breast have always been big no matter my weight. They are very dense and heavy. So after years of back pain I finally made an appointment for a consultation. I was going through insurance so that’s how I found my doctor. Had my surgery on the 9th and I can’t believe how smooth everything has been. I am still healing and hopefully will have my drains removed tomorrow. I also had upper back lipo which throws a different element into the healing. But so far so good!!
Dr. Stephenson and his team have been great. Cindy, the person responsible for scheduling is wonderful and kind. Dr. Stephenson was patient with all my questions and talked through options whenever I had a concern. He always valued my concerns and questions. I had a tummy tuck with lipo of flanks and a breast lift without implants (went back and forth about the implants). I was worried about anesthesia time as far as nausea and vomiting, but had no issues and the anesthesiologist gave several medications to combat that issue. The first couple weeks were pretty rough for the tummy tuck. Compared to the tummy tuck, I barely even noticed the breast lift. LOL. I had more use of my arms than I expected which was helpful so that I wouldn't use my abs as much. The follow-up has been frequent and thorough and the nurses at the practice have also been great. My drain had to stay in over two weeks because it just kept draining. Looking forward to final results once more of the swelling goes down, but I definitely recommend this practice and surgeon.
Dr Stephenson was amazing! I am super happy with my results. He took his time and listened to me and treated me like a person not a number. I have one more surgery and I will definitely be using him!!
amazing !! so happy with everything and if you are unsure about anything he clears it up for you. He was very kind and makes sure you are good from start to finish. The staff is amazing as well. Everything is all about you there.
My experience with Dr. Stephenson was awesome. From consultation until I surgery he took the time to thoroughly and patiently explain everything to me, answered all my many questions, and responded to emails in a timely manner. He told me what to expect realistically which was accurate. My surgery went well, I am very happy with my results, loving my new tummy. After surgery, Dr. Stephenson followed me closely to make sure my recovery went well and that I had no issues. I will most definitely be returning to him for other procedures in the near future, and would readily recommend him for all your cosmetic surgery needs.
After having two children and carrying around loose skin for over 2 decades I decided to do something for myself and went to see Dr Stephenson at Prima Center for a tummy tuck and muscle repair. From my consultation appointment all the way through to post op, the entire staff has been AMAZING! Dr Stephenson has far exceeded ALL of my expectations, not just with my procedure but with the extra care and attention that he provided to me as a patient. He addressed every one of my questions, responded to all of my concerns, and took time to help me set realistic expectations. l cannot thank Dr Stephenson and his staff enough for all of their care and expertise. I cannot say enough wonderful things about them.
Great! Can't wait to see my new abdomen. Dr. Stephenson took the time to explain everything to me until I was totally clear. I am 4 days post-op, so far so good! Ready to get this binder off very soon. Updated on 17 Jan 2019: I am very pleased with my tummy tuck results. My surgeon did a great job, was very professional and caring from start to finish. My surgery went well, no complications, and he was very attentive during my follow up visits.
During my initial visit for surgery consultation, I thought it was a waste of my time. Previous doctors, had told me it would be unlikely that the needed surgery would be approved by insurance. Dr.Stephenson submitted my claim to insurance and it was approved within weeks. Within weeks, I was being scheduled for surgery. The process went so fast, I was amazed. During pre-op consultation Dr. Stephenson answered all my questions. The day of surgery, I was a bit jittery Dr. Stephenson and hospital staff made me feel comfortable and took away my jitters. He did an awesome job on the surgery and I am feeling a lot better! I always have a good experience with all staff. I definitely made the right choice with Dr.Stephenson and I highly recommend!
Dear Diligent, What you’re noticing is a fold of skin toward the inner corner of your eyelid — often referred to as an epicanthal fold. As we age, subtle changes in skin elasticity, brow position, and eyelid support can cause these folds to become more prominent, even if they weren’t noticeable before. There are surgical options to address this, but in someone your age, we’d usually look at conservative, targeted approaches first. Sometimes, a carefully planned upper blepharoplasty (eyelid lift) can smooth this area, and in certain cases, combining it with a brow lift can further open and refresh the eye. The exact plan would depend on your anatomy, skin quality, and goals, so an in-person exam is essential to determine the best approach. Summary: The fold you’re seeing is an epicanthal fold. It’s common with age, and options range from small surgical adjustments to a combination of brow lift and eyelid surgery — the right choice depends on your unique anatomy. Dear Costanorte, If your thyroid is stable and you’re otherwise healthy, your low weight alone isn’t usually a reason to avoid a facelift or neck lift. At 98 lbs, you may just have less natural facial fat, so the best results might include adding some volume (fat transfer or filler) and improving skin texture with a peel or laser. Before surgery, it’s smart to check that you’re well-nourished and able to heal well. Simple blood tests like **pre-albumin** and **transferrin** can help. If you’re low in certain minerals—like zinc or calcium—supplements can help, but taking extra when you’re not deficient doesn’t speed healing. In the right hands, with a plan tailored to your anatomy and nutritional needs, you can still be a good candidate for surgery and get a great, natural result. Dear Vivid, If you're looking for a true anatomical lift of the midface, a LeFort I osteotomy is the gold standard. This procedure surgically moves the upper jaw (maxilla) forward and slightly upward, restoring harmony to the nose, upper lip, cheeks, and even your bite. Here’s what it can help with: Improve under-projected cheeks without implants Bring the upper lip and base of the nose forward Lift the paranasal area (area beside the nose) Support a future rhinoplasty (especially for dorsal augmentation or tip support)
Dear Nice, Thank you so much for sharing your journey—it’s completely understandable to feel frustrated after such a big transformation. At just six months post-op, you’re still in the thick of healing, especially after orthognathic surgery. Swelling, tissue remodeling, and bone settling can all create the illusion that your face is longer, pointier, or even asymmetrical. What you’re seeing now likely isn’t the final result. The "witch-like" or overly long chin appearance you mentioned could be due to residual swelling, temporary changes in soft tissue, or how the muscles are still adjusting. That thickening near your mandible angle may soften over time as well. I recommend holding off on additional procedures—like chin contouring, cheek implants, or jaw angle implants—until you’ve given your body a full year to heal. Since you already have a rhinoplasty scheduled to support the tip of your nose, that should be your next step. It’s best to wait at least 6 to 12 months after your nose surgery before considering anything else. This gives your face a chance to settle into its new proportions and allows us to make more accurate decisions about whether or not to adjust your chin or cheeks. You can combine rhinoplasty and chin revision surgery, but doing them together increases the chances of an unpredictable outcome. If you're still unhappy after everything heals, options like chin height reduction, a slight sliding genioplasty setback, or even refined jawline contouring can help soften and shorten the appearance of your face. For cheeks, we’d determine whether you need width (malar implants) or forward projection (submalar implants) to give a youthful, balanced look. But all of that comes after the dust settles from what you've already been through. Right now, your best tool is time. You’ve done the hardest part—so now it’s about smart sequencing and not rushing into more surgery too soon. Warmly, Earl Stephenson, Jr, MD, DDS, MBA ESJ Aesthetics – "Where Confidence Takes Shape!
Dear Drealme1, To achieve a more defined, sculpted face, consider these permanent surgical enhancements: 1. Sliding Genioplasty – Stronger, more balanced chin 2. Jawline Contouring or Jaw Angle Implants – Sharpen and define lower face/jaw 3. Malar or Submalar Implants – Enhance cheekbones for midface contour 4. Transconjunctival Blepharoplasty – Remove under-eye puffiness (scarless approach) Next step: Meet in plastic surgeon with a facial plastic and/or maxillofacial surgery experience or a facial plastic surgeon (ENT) to finalize the surgical plan based on your bone structure, facial goals, and aesthetic preferences.
