What is Wrong with my Neck? I Dislike My Profile. (photo)

I am not really what sure is wrong with my neck. I am 29 and fairly in shape I have come to really dislike my profile. Is there anything that can be done?

Thanks for posting the photos. I recommend neck lifting with liposuction. Best to be seen in person by a few boarded PSs in your area.

A: Neck aesthetics, Improving appearance with lipolift, genioplasty or chin implants

There are two issues with your neck.  What you are noticing is your cervicomental angle, the angle betweenyour neck and chin.  the quick answer that you SHOULD NOT go for is a chin implant.  Redraping your neck skin with minimal liposuction and skin tightening( I prefer Skintyte II an infrared based skin contraction device) with or without a genioplasty.  A genioplasty is a surgical repositioning of the projection of your chin.  Fewer surgeons offer this because it requires more advanced training and technical skill, but it provides results that an implant can never achieve.  Implants cannot change the vertical position of your chin and always erode both bone and soft tissue and carry lifelong risks of infection, extrusion and nerve compression.  Chin implants are a very bead idea for patients of your age.  An oblique sliding geneoplasty could balance the horizontal and vertical dimensions of your face and also dramatically improve the appearance of your cervicomental angle giving you a more defined appearance and a prettier neck.  I hope this helps!

All the best,
