I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Thomassen and his staff. I have had a few procedures done by Dr. Thomassen and I couldn't be happier with all of them. The most recent I had was a breast augmentation and lift, which he performed in May of 2024. I had some complications from another surgeon's BA about 7 months prior and for various reasons, decided to go back to Thomassen. (Wish I had never gone to another Dr and just gone to Dr. Thomassen in the first place for my BA, but we all make mistakes!) Dr. Thomassen was very empathetic, caring, and of course- skilled- as usual and I am so happy with my results. In addition, his staff are so helpful and informative. Dr Thomassen tailored his “game plan” to my features and skin and was he was also very caring and accessible post op. I researched the procedure and shopped Drs for almost a year. Dr. Thomassen is an excellent physician and surgeon. I researched, read reviews, and looked over pictures of facelifts for a couple of years. At my consultation he was welcoming, he listened and I felt very comfortable. I was also impressed with his work. I'm recovering at the moment (3rd day) and I'm doing well. The day of surgery he called me early evening to follow up on my well-being. I'm very happy I chose him and recommend him as a professional, compassionate and master of his profession.

Had crepey neck, jowls, marionettes. Everything you would see on 60 plus face. I searched many Plastic Surgeons post pics and reviews. Dr J.M. Thomassen is very experienced surgeon. 1 Valium - 3 Hrs surgery and no pain - He is truly artist. After 2 weeks my scars are hardly visible and I am ready for my active life. The office, specially Alicia is very professional and make me very comfortable.

I would recommend Dr. Thomassen to anyone in need of a highly talented and exceptionally professional reconstructive surgeon. My particular condition was extremely complex requiring more than Five (5) months of attention during which I underwent Four (4) major operations and numerous out-patient procedures. Dr. Thomassen is compassionate, considerate and empathetic. Apart from being blessed with incredible surgical skills and expansive medical knowledge, he deeply cares about the well being of his patients. Dr. Thomassen is always only a phone call away --- days, nights or weekends. His manner is characterised by kindness and decency. One never waits to see Dr. Thomassen. His practice is incredibly efficient. If a patient is scheduled for surgery or a minor procedure or a straightforward office visit, he will be on time and focused solely on the patient. I was most impressed by Dr. Thomassen's thoroughness and the obvious thought he gave to planning then performing my surgeries. Before my first consultation I was terrified I would be disfigured for life. Afterwards, I knew I was in safe hands and on the road to a complete recovery.

I had a lower facelift and neck lift under local anesthesia with Dr Thomassen. It was less painful than going to the dentist. I took only a low dose of Valium. Bruising and swelling was mostly gone in less than two weeks and I was out and about everywhere then. I later had a MACS facelift as a revision under local which took less than an hour and I was out and about on day four.
I am very happy with the results and if I must say so myself, I now look almost 20 years thanks to the amazing work that Dr Thomassen has done.
