I've read that after standard liposuction, fat starts showing up in unexpected places. I heard that this happens because the body has a standard number of fat cells and after the removal of fat cells from one location, the body just reproduces them somewhere else. Does this also happen after the Brazilian Butt lift procedure? Or is this not a problem because the removed fat cells are manually transferred to the buttocks?
Liposuction removes some of the fat cells in problem areas. Your body does not make more fat cells. However, after liposuction, you must maintain a healthy balance of diet and exercise or your body can and will add fat to existing fat cells. If you do put on pounds, the fat will tend to be more evenly distributed than before liposuction since some of the problem area fat cells have been removed. Fat won't show up in weird places.
hi i need help on how to prepare for a BBL.. i dont want to have super saggy skin as i also am getting lipo.. should i be on a diet?.. and what vitamins.. etc do i take.. please help
Proper preparation for surgery is key to healing well, mazimizing your results and minimizing complications. First and foremost is not smoking. Smoking increases your risk of complications and decreases the take of the injected fat. As far as diet, a normal healthy diet with a multi vitamin and mineral supplement is sufficient. Be sure to disclose all your medications and supplements to your doctor and stop taking aspirin at least 10 days before surgery.
I would like a to add a large amount of enhancement to my buttocks. Can both implants and fat transfer be performed at the same time?
Generally, most people have enough fat to allow buttock augmentation with fat grafting alone. If there is not enough fat, buttock implants are an option. I see no reason why fat grafting could not be added to the implant procedure.
