I am not really what sure is wrong with my neck. I am 29 and fairly in shape I have come to really dislike my profile. Is there anything that can be done?
Nothing is wrong with your neck, but if you want it more trim with better definition of your jaw, consider a chin implant and liposuction of the neck.
Here are my morphs done by a plastic surgeon
Questions: 1. Do I need a neck lipo or neck lift or face lift? 2. Do I have mouth protrusion(bi-max protrusion)? Is it severe needed to be corrected? 3. Do you agree with the implants? I am 32 male.
An Xray will best answer your question regarding maxillary protrusion, and will provide more information regarding the relationship between your upper and lower jaw and the skull base. This would be essential in patients entertaining the possibility of jaw surgery. Younger patients will usually not be best served by a face or necklift. Liposuction of the neck with or without platysmal plication and a chin implant would be a reasonable solution.
How little or great is the chance of laser burns from a laser neck lift?
Good question. If the laser neck lift is simply a conventional necklift using a laser for some part of the dissection, then I cannot see this as being different to conventional necklifting. A laser is simply a tool that may be incorporated into one of a number of surgical procedures. However, one should establish whether the laser is being used for possible resurfacing, or tightening, of the skin and subcutaneous tissues. In this scenario, the laser is being deployed as an alternative to surgery. Most would agree that the latter will not provide as dramatic a result as surgery. I would clarify this with your surgeon.
