Our approach to our Rhinoplasty in La Jolla is different from what you might find elsewhere, primarily because of our comprehensive approach to all of our procedures. Rather than merely change the nose to the patient’s predisposed dreams or expectations, we take into account their entire face.
Often, the patient -- and even other surgeons -- don’t realize the effect other features of the face (especially the chin) can have on the perception of the nose. A small or undersized chin, for example, can contribute to the illusion of a larger nose. In such cases, it may be a chin augmentation rather than an extensive rhinoplasty that’s required.
We always take into consideration the shape and dimensions of your face as whole, rather than your nose as a single entity, when considering the best course for the nose job procedure. This ensures that our patients not only look their best, but that their noses also look natural and suit their face.

Three weeks out from my Vertical Restore, and I look at least 20 years younger. Dr. Karam is hands down the best plastic surgeon in the United States. He is a perfectionist, and his patented technique takes you into a Time Machine. I will never regret choosing him as my doctor. His team is extremely qualified, and able to answer most questions. Watch his videos, look at his instagram, and you will get all the information you need prior to surgery. He’s worth every penny!
Very happy with my results. Six days out, and I feel great. The staff, nurses, Dr. Karam, and everyone else have been wonderful. I was very nervous about getting my sutures removed, and Ishani helped immensely feel very relaxed and took away a lot of that anxiety. Very very professional staff and practice.
Dr. Karam and his staff are exceptional. They addressed my concerns and made the entire experience non-stressful. Antonio was such a pleasure to work with from the very beginning and prompt with his responses. Nurse Stacy is hilarious and really helped me understand the healing process, which alleviate my anxiety.
