I am 21 and i am 5'3 and about 160 to 175lbs an is has a somewhat tiny figure and have not yet had children. I have upper back pain an sagging with my breast. I am a 34O in bra size and have been sized with professional's more than once. I dont know if insurance will cover it and if they only cover some i dont know whether I will be able to afford the rest!!
Policies vary significantly among insurance companies; however many, if not most, will cover a reduction if it is medically necessary which means if you are having symptoms like back or shoulder pain or shoulder grooving. Most plastic surgeons who perform this surgery will be able to work with you to determine what your insurance will cover. So your best bet is to find a board certified plastic surgeon in your area and schedule a consultation. Good luck to you.
I am beginning the first step and I am going to see the surgeon next week. I was wondering how small can my size ff breasts be reduced
This is a question for your consultation. You should ask your surgeon what is reasonable to expect given your current size. Without examining you it is very difficult to give you any advice. Good luck with your consultation and surgery.
I had a breast reduction 1 year ago a tiny spot on the right nipple area wont heal still drains and bleeds ,she operated a second time and it healed all but that same spot that still drains and bleeds
Without examining you it is very difficult to offer advice. I assume you are continuing to see your surgeon so I would ask her what is happening. You could also ask her to refer you to another surgeon in your community for a second opinion (if she makes the referral, then the surgeons can talk to each other to discuss your problem). Good luck to you.
