I feel very fortunate to have found Dr. Coscia. He is not only a brilliant and skilled surgeon but he is also a great listener and communicator with a very empathetic and caring heart. All his medical and administrative staff are exceptionally well trained, professional, courteous and friendly. I always felt cared and respected every time I visited. I would be very transparent about this- At age 60, I had a facelift, facial fat grafting, upper and lower blepharoplasty. It was the biggest surgery I had ever had in my life. It was rather hard for the first couple of months however, it has been almost six and a half months since the surgery and now, I can say, “Yes, it was absolutely well worth it! I am happier than ever and extremely satisfied with my aesthetic results.” I thank Dr. Coscia for everything he has done for me. He has been very supportive every step of the way and has provided excellent post-surgery care as well. He is truly a perfectionist. Honestly, I trust only Dr. Coscia as my plastic surgeon and I would highly recommend him to anyone who is considering getting any kind of plastic surgery.
It took me 10 years to find a doctor for my breast implants and I chose great! But as soon as I met Dr. Cosía I knew that I wasn’t going to spend the next 10 looking for my rhinoplasty. He made me feel that I was in the right hands. I agree, the whole team makes a difference but this doctor is incredibly professional and has a heart to teach! As you sit there with a million questions, he will not shut you down. He will explain in a way that you can understand facts and your body. My husband is a physician and he too was amazed by Dr.Cosía. (I am not being paid to say this, totally speaking from my heart!) Thank you sir for a smooth experience and for giving me the confidence I deserve when I smile! I will be seeing you and your team in the near future!
Worth every penny! If you are thinking of doing this surgery, do it! Best thing I have ever done for myself! Staff as amazing doctor was amazing! Recovery was easy! I have nothing bad to say! I would do it again tomorrow
Let me start by saying I went back and forth on getting a breast augmentation for two whole years before actually doing it and I’m so glad I waited. The surgeon I had a consultation with initially was just not the right fit. Eventually I came upon Dr. Coscia through a friend’s recommendation and I knew immediately after meeting him that he would be my surgeon. He is so approachable, kind and thorough. I felt like I was in good hands immediately and I left my consult knowing he understood my desired results. I am a small framed individual so I wanted to ensure my final result wasn’t going to make me look disproportionate, he ultimately did a fantastic job providing a natural and very aesthetically pleasing result. I truly could not recommend him more.
Amazing results, professional, kind staff and a friendly, personable doctor. There is nothing more comforting than a doctor who seems genuinely excited to work with you to help you achieve your goals. It’s impossible to convey how happy I am, and how much this surgery has changed the way I feel about myself. After 5 years of hard work in the gym and even harder work on nutrition, Dr. Coscia finished the job for me. I am so grateful! No more looking for clothes and swimsuits to hide in. Worth every penny and the recovery from the procedure! Thank you Dr Coscia!
This is the doctor if you have curves and want to enhance them. He is truly an artist. I met with him for a consult in January after consulting with many doctors in LA and Miami. He was the only doctor on my radar in my home city. I was frighten to travel to have surgery. Just when I was preparing myself to fly to the east coast—I found Dr Coscia. He is skilled. He’s very funny and kind-but straight forward. He’s not going to promise to make you a Barbie doll. He will give you honest feedback about what you can do to help you get the ideal results. I didn’t go into this as a size 10 looking to be a size 2 when I got off the table. My main priority was my core and being able to feel it again. After my 3rd and final pregnancy I could not feel anything when I did a sit up, and I couldn’t hold myself in a push up any longer. It was very discouraging at the gym. Then the weight came on. I knew if I could fix the muscles I would enjoy the gym again. I was quoted $15k for tummy tuck with lipo. His coordinator is extraordinary!!! She makes you feel like you’re the only patient when I know she’s working with multiple women all day long. I booked my surgery for May. During my pre op appointment I met with the doctor and was so nervous I didn’t ask any questions. The appointment was 5 mins. He took photos and off I went. The next night I started having panic attacks. The surgery was in 10 days. I called Robyn to let her know I was NOT ready. She scheduled for me to come back to the office (so kind). This time the doctor spent 30 minutes going over my concerns and discussing my goals. He didn’t try to “sell” me on moving forward. He spent time with me so I could get to know him a little better and understand what would go on. My nerves were much better. I was ready. I was so ready that the day of surgery I was encouraging ladies in the weighting room with me. Surgery day went smooth. I was nervous about being put under. The nurse chatted with me and did my IV. After that I was OUT. I woke up and couldn’t believe it was over. I kept asking the nurse if it was time for surgery and she laughed. She told me I was done. My husband picked me up. I went home with leg squeezers. Everything was awesome! I didn’t have much pain from the procedure. I took my pain meds for 4 days. My back was the most pain from being hunched. I walked at a snails pace for 2.5 weeks. Once I was able to get the back pain under control I was walking 1-2 miles a day. I went to the ER once to get checked for a blood clot-but nothing was there. I had no complications to date. I’m 5 weeks post op and feeling just fine. I get to start working out this upcoming week and I’m ecstatic. I did not wait until I hit my goal weight to do the procedure. I’m 20lbs away from my goal and I did research. I knew that losing weight wouldn’t hurt my results too bad. Plus—it’s a huge motivator to have a very tight waist when working out. The surgery was so successful that I’m comfortable in my skin at this size too. The big belly is gone. The muscle are in front of me now. It’s weird. I laugh and I can feel muscles instead of a whole. Swelling is real. Recovery is 6months to a year. I get lymphatic massages every week. Jungle, Grace Massage studio was fantastic with post surgery massage. I saw Christina and she always looked at my incisions, wore gloves, and gave reminders to help with recovery. She could tell if I forgot to drink my water! I think that’s it. Get the surgery!
Dr. Coscia is the best. He was very understanding with what I was looking for with my procedure. He is very honest and caring when talking in the follow up appts. He answered every question ask truthfully and honestly.
This is something I’ve wanted for 15 years. After having two children, my stomach was stretched out and I had no core muscles, no matter what I tried. I also had chronic back pain that I was unable to resolve with medication or acupuncture. With careful research, I found Dr. Coscia. I didn’t ask many questions at my initial appointment, I saw the photos of his work and was just ready to have the surgery done. A few weeks later, I scheduled the surgery. The wait time was about 2 months, which was fine with me. As the surgery date approached I became nervous about the surgery. I found comfort in the reviews and advice I found on this website. On surgery day, everything went as planned. I was sent home with three drains and clear instructions for home care and recovery. The recovery has been slow but smooth. I have had no issues at all apart from what would be expected after such major surgery and circumferential liposuction. I agree with what others have stated regarding lipo- it’s far more painful than the actual tummy tuck itself. And the recovery from that part is longer. Regarding Dr. Coscia and his staff, I cannot say enough positive things about all of them. The nurses in the office are so caring and compassionate. Having the drains removed terrified me, but they were so sweet and calming - I didn’t even feel it when they were removed. Dr. Coscia is a fabulous physician. I am so grateful for his tremendous skills and his bedside manner. He is amazing. One last note- the back pain I was suffering from is mostly a thing of the past now. In the past, I would wake up every day with back pain. Today, three months later, I only have a few days once in a while where I have slight pain but the debilitating pain is gone. Truly a miracle! Thank you, Dr. Coscia!!!!
I have a large cm fibroid taken up my abdomen thats being taken out in 2 months and decided I might as well use the opportunity to change my body entirely. My plan is to get a breast implant revision, tumor out then a bbl with ab etching in December (will review that later) . I called multiple providers for a week originally for a combined surgery of breast implant revision and bbl before siding to split the procedures. I spoke with Dr Coscia's office approximately 2 weeks ago and went in for a consultation the same week. I decided to see Dr Coscia due to multiple positive reviews about him on multiple platforms. To me it appeared he was more of a facial surgeon and in my opinion if you have the precision to provide amazing face results that look amazing and you don't see scars, you should be able to do a common procedure such as breast implant revision though I did review his breast work also and liked what I saw. Robyn, Dr Coscia's coordinator, has been amazing. From accommodating my request for an asap surgery date, answering multiple emails in a timely manner and my sending last minute wish list photos. All the staff were amazing. My consultation with Dr Coscia was awesome. He was kind, understanding and pleasurable to speak with when discussing my goals. I even asked him if I needed a few facial work items I had looked into and he told me no, that he wouldn't recommend me having procedures as mt features were great now however in 10 years I may want to do a bit a maintenance if needed then. I appreciated his honesty. I ended up paying in full at my consultation and booked a surgery less than 2 weeks out - i needed time to heal before my tumor removal surgery. Due to covid I had to get tested and thankfully came out negative. I prepped my house for surgery purchasing items to help my recovery based on reviews and articles from realself. Day of surgery I was notified I could come in early as they were running early and I did. Now this is the only area I gave 4 out of 5 starts. My surgery ended up starting late but I was only waiting 2 hours or so from the time of my arrival to my laying down on the table. During this time the nurses gave me an IPad so honestly time flew by. They ended up telling me they were going to put a tube down my throat to assist with breathing as a precaution in case my abdominal tumor (non cancereous) impeded my breathing - I was not awake during this. I barely remember laying down before waking again and surgery was over. I honestly felt amazing. My chest was tight but no real pain. My throat was a tad sore from the tube but I brought throat losages as a precaution and felt fine. The nurses bed side manner was awesome they were so sweet. Honestly everyone I dealt with was awesome. Now I will be honest i orginally asked for 650 ccs, I am 5'11 with a ton of muscles from sports and the gym and my old ones were too small in my opinion for my frame and the look I am going for. I started getting nervous that even 650 would be too small so I sent wish pics to Robyn who sent them to the doctor. We also spoke of what I wanted when he was marking me up. He ended up doing 700cc and725cc. When I woke up I was nervous they still were too small but after reading multiple reviews it appears they will drop and fluff which I am looking forward to. I am so glad dr coscia went higher than 650. So im home, i end up taking the prescribed pain killers just to relieve the constant pressure feeling so i can sleep but will take extra strength tylenol during the day (and at night once i can sleep with needing the prescription). So far its 6am and im in even less discomfort and I am excited. Overall my experience has been amazing and I plan to update this and my other bbl surgery also. I am over the moon. The transformation achieved by Dr. Coscia and his staff (family) on my face and neck are spectacular. Finally I look as young as I feel. The combination of sun damage (wear your sunscreen people!), a miss-spent youth and simple aging left me saggy and bony. Creams and potions and such besides not working, were nickel and diming me to death. It took years of looking in the mirror flipping my neck waddle and pulling at my jowls to seek surgical intervention. During the consult with Dr. Coscia, the certainty that this was the right place for me began to sink in. His professionalism and attention to detail along with this super friendly and supportive staff made me feel right at home and confident in choosing this practice with this surgeon. I would, without hesitation, recommend cosmetic surgery in general and this team specifically.
I would definitely go the full tummy tuck route. You have laxity and bulging of your abdominal wall both above and below your belly button. Therefore, a full tummy tuck would allow tightening of your abdomen from the bottom of your sternum down to you pubic bone. This will flatten your abdomen and narrow your waist line.
Definitely a regular tummy tuck. Your issues are lower abdomen--so I would do the typical lower incision for a regular tummy tuck instead of a reverse tummy tuck. Then you also have some irregularity above the umbilicus--so I would definitely do a fully tummy tuck and not a mini tummy tuck which would only help below the belly button.
Yes, prior liposuction does present an increased risk for complications after a tummy tuck. This is because the liposuction destroys some of the blood vessels under the skin. When we perform a tummy tuck we cut blood vessels in order to raise the abdominal skin flap. Because of the previous liposuction, there is scar tissue and traumatized blood vessels already present. So it's basically like a double whammy. It's still very reasonable to proceed and I have done many tummy tucks on prior liposuction patients. It's just that the surgeon needs to inform you of this slightly increased risk. Also, yes you should tighten your abdominal muscles as well because it will tighten up that lower protrusion of your abdomen. Hope that helps.
Hi. The only way botox would correct it is to lower the left side which would make your whole brow look heavy. A good option to correct what is bothering you would be an endoscopic brow lift. This procedure only utilizes very small incisions behind the hairline so that no incision is visible. The brow can then be suspended and correct the symmetry problem and lift the brow.
Hi. Sorry your postop appointment was fast. First i would recommend calling his office again and speaking to him or one of his medical staff so you can ask your questions. All plastic surgeon's have slightly different routine's after surgery and it would be important to talk with him about his specifics. I have patients wear a specific bra that we give them. You don't want to support the breasts too much because it will push the implants higher than they need to be. Sleep on your back for the first 4-6 weeks. You can lay flat if you would like at this point. Vitamins okay. Sex after a few weeks. Brisk walk is fine. That is a time that a supportive sports bra is okay. Hope that helps.
