What Surgery Will You Recommend for Major Saddle Bags and Saggy Butt?
You may be an ideal candidate for liposuction of the saddle bags and autologous fat transfer to the buttocks. In our practice, we call this Natural Fill Buttocks. We utilize the Body Jet to perform the liposuction as we feel this is the gentlest way to remove the fat. In addition to the saddle bags, you may want liposuction around the buttocks, for example lower back and hips. Then transferring the fat to the buttocks will give you increase size and improved contour.
I'm so confused. Several board certified plastic surgeons have told me butt lifts should never be done with the incision in the crease because it disrupts the shape of the buttocks, the skin eventually hangs loose from buttock to back-of-thigh with no demarcation between them, and it looks deformed and hideous. Others have told me they do it all the time with great results and that putting the incision in the crease is the best procedure because the scar is virtually hidden there. Who is right?
I think what you need to realize is that with the inferior gluteal incision, you are not really lifting the buttocks. You are improving only the lower part and getting rid of some of the overhand. You will not get any improvement in the upper 2/3 of the buttock. To lift the entire buttocks, you need an incision above the buttocks - by removing skin here, you can pull up the entire buttock. also, sometimes, if you just need more volume, you made get enough improvement with a Brazilian butt lift which is basically adding fat to the buttocks and filling up the skin envelope. This will give the buttock a little elevation as well.
I recently lost 100lbs and even though I have hips, my butt kind of deflates and sinks in. I was interested in getting a Brazilian Butt Lift, but two plastic surgeons have said to do a Butt Lift (even though I don't have much sagging), and they can overlay the fat on my hips on top of fat in order to not get flat buttocks. Does this sound right or should I pursue the Brazilian Butt Lift?
Both procedures improve the appearance of your buttocks. After 100lb weight lost, most likely you will required skin excision to get rid of the extra skin.To improve the shape I commonly preform butt augmentation with fat grafting at the same time. These two procedures in my opinion will give you the best aesthetic results.
