He did an amazing job! Dr. Castor and his office is very kind and he really takes the time to answer questions, talk through options and weigh pros and cons of different ideas. I willsee him for all my aesthetic needs moving forward! Thanks so much!!
Truly one of the best plastic surgeons around! I had about 4 consultations because I had a capsular contractor that needed to be fixed. ALL the doctors besides him kept pushing a breast lift which was NOT what I came in for. He was the only doctor that said yes let’s take out the capsular contractor and put in new implants! I really liked that he wasn’t trying to push extra surgeries on me that I didn’t want! He was kind, informative and knowledgeable! I just KNEW he would do an amazing job! I felt very comfortable with him as well.
I’m absolutely blown away with the experience I had at Dr Castors office. I went a few months ago for my 2nd consultation for a mommy make over and I knew that day Dr Castor and his staff were the best choice. I felt so comfortable and everyone was so nice. Dr Castor explained all my options and let me decide what to get. I wanted to go pretty big in my chest but they were very honest about what could actually fit with my measurements and I’m so happy with my results any bigger would have been way too big! So the day I went for my surgery I felt so relaxed I didn’t even need to take anything to help me relax. I just knew I was in good hands and felt so safe with everyone who assisted in my surgery. I was uncomfortable when I woke up but the anesthesiologist gave me some more meds and it helped. This surgery is not for the weak id say the tummy tuck is really hard it’s very tight and painful for about a week. Week 2 it’s still painful but you can function. I’m on day 9 and I can drive and do little things but I rest a lot too. I stopped pain meds on day 4 and have been alternating Motrin and Tylenol since which really doesn’t do a lot but it’s enough. I wanna feel like my self again. So since my surgery I have been back to the office about 3 times for my post op appointment and to have each drain removed one at a time. Any time I have a question the girls are so knowledgeable and can help me with anything and if anything is wrong they have you come in asap. This surgery is scary and the recovery is even harder and I feel so supported but Dr Castors staff and I’m so thankful for it. Also a huge bonus they have a lot of free services available after your surgery I’m not sure if they change them seasonally but I really appreciate it especially after the cost of the procedure to save a few bucks on some things. FYI my nurse practitioner friend referred me to this website to find a surgeon and that’s how I found Dr Castor! Go for a consultation and get the body you always wanted! I’m so happy and I’m barely 2 weeks in! I can’t wait to see my final results I’ll post before and after when I completely heal!
Dr. Stanley Castor and his team were extremely honest, clear, and straight forward about what I could expect from this procedure from the start. We discussed my concerns and he gave me a reasonable expectation for what Vaser liposuction could do for me. He was aware of my rare genetic disorder (most doctors aren't) and was comfortable with the limitations of it. This is a procedure I've always wanted and I'm extremely happy with my results. I felt comfortable throughout the entire process. The entire staff is very kind and accommodating, working with me when I needed to make last minute changes to appointments or if I was running late. I would 100% recommend Dr. Castor and his team. I'm beyond happy with my results and they've exceeded my expectations. I would do this procedure again in a heartbeat.
Everyone in is office is extremely nice and helpful! They have been working with my family to plan my surgery and recovery. My surgery is September 25th! I will keep y'all posted I am super excited!
Dr Castor is one of a kind. He was realistic with me with what I wanted to improve with myself. You don’t find many doctors like that. He suggested the proper surgery and didn’t push anything on me that I did not need. He made me comfortable when I was so nervous and embarrassed about things. I will go to him again when I need something else done. And his staff up front and his surgery team. They were was so nice and accommodating. It makes you smile when they call you by your name:) they checked on me and made me laugh and made me comfortable.
I had my consultation with Dr. Castor last week and was able to fit in to a window for a breast augmentation this week. From the consultation, to pre-op, to surgery day, to post-op I felt VERY well-taken care of. Dr. Castor and his staff were very attentive to my needs and goals and paid close attention to how my body is (I have congenital scoliosis). I didn't feel rushed or pressured into anything and I felt completely safe leaving it in Dr. Castor's hands. He listened well and helped guide me in the right direction that would give me realistic results for what I really wanted. I'm day 1 post-op and will be sharing as I go along this recovery journey. Updated on 10 Mar 2023: These are my post-op photos. It wasn’t as bad as I was expecting. I had a lot of expected soreness around my armpit and underboob area. Bruising looked terrible and all around just really tender. I iced my chest a few times to alleviate some of that uncomfortable feeling. This was all before I was able to shower. Updated on 10 Mar 2023: Taken the morning of my one week post-op appointment. Still soreness but nothing uncomfortable. Same feeling as if you were to sleep wrong. Still taking it easy and day by day, but each day was getting easier! Updated on 10 Mar 2023: About to hit my monthiversary with the girls! Recovery and the days leading up to now have been great. One of the easiest (for me) surgeries I’ve ever had. I feel good, look incredible, and I’m extremely happy with how it has been going so far!
Dr. Castor was very attentive and took the time to answer questions and listen to my concerns from pre-op appointment, day of surgery and post op. The nurse, anesthesiologist and assistant Roxy could not have been any friendlier or more accommodating. Nikki assisted me over the phone and through email during the planning phase as an out of state patient. She was very helpful and responsive as well. My procedure was yesterday so it’s too early to assess my results but I’m quite happy with the experience at artisan aesthetics.
I had a breast augmentation back in 2014 and I just had my second procedure with him which was liposuction. I always recommend him to all of my friends because he is so kind, a tentative, and really gives you exactly what you want. Every person that sees my breast tells me how amazing they are and natural looking even under the muscle. Can't wait to enjoy my results of this procedure.
I started out at Dr. Castor’s office because my 23 year old daughter wanted chin lipo. I went with her to the consultation and was really impressed with how Dr. Castor treated her. A few weeks later one of my breast implants broke. I called Dr. Castor’s office and even though they were booked solid they agreed to fit me in with my daughter at her post op. I had my own consultation with Dr. Castor and I was very nervous. I am 54 years old and not exactly in shape. I had the middle age meno belly and saggy chin going on. I timidly asked if he could look at my belly and chin and possibly do some lipo while I was having the breast implants replaced. I was afraid he’d say no because my bmi wasn’t low. He looked at my areas and made notes and said yes he could do everything the same day. I am five weeks out and I just can’t express how much of a renewed sense of hope this surgery has given me. He did an amazing job! The most important thing that I want to say is that everyone made me feel comfortable and cared for. Sometimes when you aren’t a size two it’s intimidating to go into a plastic surgeons office and bare everything. If you are even considering a procedure go see Dr. Castor and his team. Everyone is wonderful. They are extremely kind and considerate. You aren’t waiting for a long time with a bunch of people, patients are staggered so you have a short wait and often by yourself. When scheduling they try to accommodate what works best for you. They know you by name when you come in. Dr. Castor never rushes you-you can ask any questions you have. The office is always super clean and the cost is affordable. Best experience ever- I went in to correct an issue and feel like a new person at 54 years old. Highly recommend to my imperfect middle aged friends that know we aren’t young but still want to look our best.
Hello, Thank you for your question. When your implants are above the muscle, they are closer to your skin. So, if you lose weight, the skin may show ripples. It doesn't really go away unless you put on more weight so that there is more fat to cover it up. Exercising is not going to worsen the rippling. There is not a way to get rid of the rippling without doing surgery such as a fat transfer to the area or having the implant placed under the muscle. Hope that helps.
I don't feel that you have symmastia. This is the condition when the breast implants pocket tear through the muscle or soft tissue and the implant pockets become one allowing the implants to touch together. There appears to be a small separation between your breasts in the last photo. It really shouldn't get any worse. With time the implants will drift to the side because of gravity and the weight of the implant. It would always be best to ask your surgeon and have an in-person exam to confirm. Hope that helps!
Hi Surraya, It looks like you maybe developing capsular contracture on the right breast. This is a scar tissue capsule that forms around the implant and give the breast a squeezed appearance with flattening on the sides. The capsule can also push the right implant up higher making it look different. The breast can feel more firm than the other side. I would recommend you see your plastic surgeon for an in-person exam to determine if capsular contracture is the problem.
Hi Swiss Mom, I don't feel that you need a breast lift yet. Placing round silicone gel (gummy bear) implants under your muscle will give you fullness like the picture of you before breastfeeding. I don't recommend going on top of your muscle because you are asking your skin to hold up the weight of your implant...they will sag in a few months. To achieve the size in the first photo you would need around 300cc implants. Since you are taller than average, you could easily go a cup size larger (around 450cc) if you wanted to be larger than your first picture. Hope that helps!
Hi, Most women don't say that they have a lot of pain after breast augmentation. They say if feels like "tightness", a "pulled muscle", "soreness", "engorgement like when my milk came in". I also don't feel that narcotics are necessary post-op. Getting out of bed the next day, stretching and lifting your arms and taking ibuprofen, Motrin, Advil is what I advise my patients. However, please follow your own doctors instructions after surgery. Best wishes for a successful surgery!
