Hello. I'm thinking of getting a BBL and Breast Aug by fat. Should I get them both done at the same time? Or would it be better spaced out? Since I have heard that losing too much of your fat at once is not good for recovery. Please advise! I'm a 20 y.o Asian female with BMI of 18.8.
Answer: BBL & Breast Augmentation Thanks for your question. It's difficult to provide a proper evaluation with pictures. That said, a BBL and breast augmentation can be done at the same time. At my practice, I perform many such combo procedures. I suggest you schedule a consult for a proper evaluation. Hope this helps. Always consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Take care, Moises Salama MD, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.

Answer: BBL and Breast Augmentation "Thank you for your question. Performing both surgeries simultaneously would make recovery extremely challenging, since you wouldn't be able to lay directly on either your buttocks or breasts. This would severely limit your ability to rest comfortably and might adversely affect the survival of the transferred fat cells. Therefore, having these procedures separately would be more advisable to ensure a safer and more comfortable recovery period. You may want to try gaining some weight to have as much fat as possible to transfer. Always consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon for the best guidance. "

Answer: BBL Candidate with low BMI Hello and thank you for your question! In my opinion, you are likely not the best candidate for a fat transfer procedure. Everyone has differences in the distribution and quality of fat deposits, but in patients BMIs less than 20, the surgeon will have a difficult time getting enough and quality fat from multiple sites to have enough donor to make a significant differences for 1 fat transfer procedure, let alone 2. The ultimate answer would be to have an in person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to perform a physical exam and review your options!

Answer: BBL with breast fat transfer? Hello @Reliable756954, thank you for your question. Yes, it is possible to have a BBL (Brazilian butt lift) along with breast fat transfer in order to make the best decision regarding these procedures done at the same time, more information is needed. A consultation is vital to develop a surgical plan tailored toward meeting your needs specifically since lipoinjection can benefit you in many ways beyond simply improving body proportion including improved shape of breasts or glutes. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS. American Society of Plastic Surgery Member (ASPS), International Federation for Adipose Therapeutics and Science Member (IFATS), Colombian Society of Plastic Surgery member (SCCP).
