To make an assessment we need at a minimum in to see quality pictures. Look at how plastic surgeons take before and after pictures to get an idea of what we need. Your BMI is low or may not have enough fat to do either a BBL or breast fat transfer. A lot depends on your fat distribution. You probably do not have enough fat to do both procedures well. Delivering consistent quality, liposuction and fat transfer results is more difficult than most people realize. The number of plastic surgeons have truly mastered. These procedures are in a small minority. If done poorly, these people can leave people permanently disfigured. I cannot emphasize enough the importance of provider selection. being bored, certified in a plastic surgery with years of experience, and having a good reputation, that does not mean somebody has mastered anyone single procedure, especially procedures, like Liposuction had fat transfer. Because there’s so much variation in outcome, depending on who you choose as a provider, patients should consider having multiple in person, consultations to get an accurate assessment, clear understanding of what the procedure can, and can’t do, and how to find the best provider. During each consultation, ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before, and after pictures of previous patients who had similar body characteristics to your own. Unexperienced plastic surgeon should have no difficulty showing you the before and after pictures of at least 50 previous patients. When reviewing before and after pictures of fat transfer results, always confirm the exact time frame of when after pictures were taken. Early fat transfer pictures can look very impressive, but do not in anyway represent final results. After pictures from fat transfer procedures, should not be taken less than 3 to 6 months from the date of the procedure in order to accurately represent final results. We can’t really begin to make an assessment without seeing pictures. Numbers alone, do not tell the whole story. Breast fat transfer can typically increase breast size by 1/2 cup. The procedure outcome is subtle, and the procedure does very little to change the shape of the breast. Low BMI patients should probably pick one or the other in order to have enough fat to have a quality impact. There’s no correct number of consultations needed to find the right provider. Considering how much variation there is in skill and experience among plastic surgeons for these procedures, I suggest patient start the process by having at least five in person consultations.
