My experience with dr Francis was AMAZING!!…everything about the experience was great, from Anela to the nurses to the anesthesiologist to dr Francis …the time leading up to the surgery I was very nervous to the morning of there were so many worries running through my head my nerves were very bad but when I came in the office soon as everyone started talking to me my nerves went away. Everyone is gentle and beside manner was great ….my results are amazing even before my swelling went down I was happy with my results and now that I have very little swelling I look really great …I got lipo 360 with fat transfer and I don’t look fake it looks like my natural body …the way he did my incisions were really good because I don’t have any scaring and once they closed you can’t even tell I have an incision. I’ve been planning to get this surgery for years and I finally got it and honesty I was very scared because I’ve heard so many horror stories of people experiences..glad to say I didn’t have that I’m happy I chose dr Francis not only am I happy with my results I actually feel like he and his whole time cares about the work they’ve done and that I’m not just a dollar sign …thank you dr Francis
I went to doctor Francis twice, he did lipo 360 and my BBL. The office is clean, the staff is so nice, and the anesthesiologist is amazing. I never had any complications and my BBL looks amazing, he filled in my hip dips and made my butt match my legs that are naturally skinnier then the rest of my body. I will be going back for a breast lift next. Thank you doctor Francis!!!
Dr Francis is the best doctor that I could ever ask for. He and his team are very knowledgeable and professional. He was responsible for my liposuction and my breast augmentation. The surgeries were very successful and both recoveries went smoothly with great results. I highly recommend him. You are in great hands with Dr Francis.
Alright i have decided to write a review since i could not find a review when i was doing research. I did butt implants in 2021 4 About 420 CC. They were fine until 1 year. At 8 months I noticed my left implant was placed bad and i could feel the implant. It also had a saggy look. I went back with the same DR in chicago and did a revision in 2022. The DR placed some snitches in there IDK but a year after the same thing happen. I was DONE i was TIRED of the same problem. Plus having butt implants means that at some point in your life you will have to get them out. When i first got the surgery i didn't think of the complications that come with butt implants. I honestly do not recommend them even after years they are kind of painful to the touch. When someone smacks or pokes your butt it will hurt and i didn't want to leave like that. When you sit for to long it will start to feel very uncomfortable and you have to stand up for a little bit. You will always feel them!! I had them intramuscular. I decided to get them removed and add fat. I found DR. Francis in this app and decided he was the right one for this surgery. The day of the surgery i met the staff in person and they were all really nice not like the DR in chicago that didn't even greet me and treats your like a dollar sign instead of a human being. Anyways DR francis was nice and polite. He marked me and then the anesthesiologist came in he was sooo nice I really liked him. After the surgery i felt very dizzy but 0 pain. My husband drove from NY to MY which it took us 5hrs. I felt no pain in those hours i didn't need any pain meds. I was sleeping and just woke up to use the restroom. Which i just peed in a bottle in the car. When i got home i was at 0 pain. I saw my body and i was amazed and my butt right noe looks bigger then when i had implants. But hopefully that is because of the inflammation. I don't want this big of a butt. Im sure its going to go down a lot and if not i will loose weight. The next day in the afternoon was the first time i took my oxygen med and 1 was enough for 5 hrs. The pain is not bad its just feels sore specially the lipo sections thats the worst part. The incision didn't hurt that much maybe pain level from 1-10 it was a 5. The oxy took care of any pain i was feeling from day 2-6. Today is day 7 and i didn't need any pain meds today. About the incision im very scare to do any crazy movements and cause the incision to open. When i had my butt implants the incision opened 2 weeks after and it was not fun it was the worst since the healing takes longer. This time the incision has some medical glue so hopefully that will keep it close until it heals enough. So far so good i will update at week 2. My weight was 145 pounds. Height 5 3 But measurement was 44 inches. Oh and I forgot the DR said he was able to inject 650 CC in each cheek which is bigger then what i had but i know that a lot of that fat its going to die. Updated on 21 Jan 2024: I asked if i can get them and they said yes. I wanted to see what i had inside my body. I was sad and said sorry to my body for doing this. Nothing good will come out when Having a foreign object. Don’t make the same mistake i made. But you live and you learn. Updated on 21 Jan 2024: I have 0 pain. Im walking almost normal. Just being xtra careful with my incision because im scared that it will open. Why nobody talks about the sleeping part? Omg thats the wort part. Pain is nothing compared to how uncomfortable you will be trying to rest and sleep. If you stand after 30-40mins you get tired. If you get on your knees after 20 minutes it will hurt. If you lay on your stomach your neck will be in pain. You got to put pillows on your stomach so you don’t get back pain. But still doing that you will get sick of being on your stomach after a few days. Buy a BBL it’s worth it. You already spent so much money on your surgery. Why wouldn’t you spend a little money on something to make you comfortable. I bought one at 10DPO and even tho im scared to sleep on my back because of my incision i still lay there for 40 mins and it makes me feel better. If i just had a BBL i would just lay there all day no problem. But i will wait at least one more week to be on the safe side with my incision. Updated on 29 Jan 2024: So far im happy wt my results. Swelling has has gone down a lot. Right After surgery my butt was at 46.5 inches now its 44.5 inches. Hopping it will go down a little more maybe to 42-40 inches. I am no longer into the diaper look. I want something more natural looking. But im happy with what i have right now. No sagging so far. Butt still feels firm. I haven’t really sat down. Only when driving and i use a BBL pillow. I am waiting one week more to give my incision time to heal and not put any pressure. Im glad i took that plastic out of my body!!!! Updated on 26 Apr 2024: So its been almost 4 months. I currently have this oil cyst on my left cheek. It doesn’t really hurt hurt but it feel very tender and sore. I can feel the soreness when sitting and when walking i can feel that there is something in my left cheek that feels uncomfortable. I developed this lump maybe 3-4 weeks PO. At first it looked small and it didn’t hurt it was just there. When i lost 9 pounds i could see it more. One day i massaged it and since then it started to feel sore. I went to DR. Francis so he could take a look. He said it was an oil cyst and he took some of the oil with a syringe. Im not sure if he took all of it out but i still have the lump. He told me to wait 3 months. Hopefully the soreness/tenderness will go away within a few months. I don’t really mind the lump. Obviously i rather not have it but at this point im freaking tired to touching my butt and something always has to go wrong. My luck is guess. Its not the Drs fault. Every surgery has risks and this is one of them. An oil cyst its not a deadly thing. Hopefully with some time and will get smaller and stop hurting. My right cheek some fat died on the upper glute. But again IDK at this point. I just want to be 100% healed.
I don’t usually write reviews but Dr. Francis is such an amazing doctor. He’s so respectful and caring. I recommend everyone to go to him. He took the time to see my problem and did everything to help me.
I had Lipo if the hips and thighs and the neck in April 2022 and my results are awesome. My entire experience with doctor Francis and his staff were nothing short of comforting, caring and professional. From the day I walked I knew I was in good hands. Especially because they wouldn’t proceed with the surgery until they had clearance from my medical doctor! Note THATS absence of security! Everyone was awesome and fun to talk to. I would definitely go back
Thank you, Dr. Kenneth R. Francis !!!! I trusted Dr. Francis to perform five procedures for me at different times; 1. lip implant, 2. bbl with lipo, breast lift and 3. tummy tuck. I am grateful I did. Birthing two children and age showed no matter exercise and diet. Dr. Francis brought my appearance to a place I could not have gotten without him. The results are excellent. I am very happy. Dr. Francis is highly ethical and deserving of trust. He is honest and a master at his craft.
I can’t say enough about Dr. Francis and his team. I had such an amazing experience…Honestly they made surgery fun lmao. I am so happy with my results and my family and friends don’t stop complimenting the work that I had done. I feel like a brand new person and so confident and it’s all thanks to them! I miss you all! Anela, Rhiannon, Dr. Cocktail and Sara…love you all!
Hi my name is Lessy, I am 45 years old. 6 months ago I had a lipo and BBL done with Dr. Francis and I was very happy with my results but yet I still decided to go for a second session of BBL. I told Dr. Francis that I wanted a second session to fill in my curves a bit more and he did exactly that I am very pleased and satisfied with my results. Dr. Francis and his team are amazing and they have great bed side manner. Thank you Dr.Francis for making me feel comfortable and happy I have never felt more beautiful
Long post but these are all the things I wish I knew because my doctor didn’t prepare me very much for post care. I opted for a local surgeon in NYC instead of traveling to get a cheaper surgery. I did the math and with flights, housing, food, pet care and unexpected expenses i would be paying about the same. So I decided to heal at home. I am single and live alone with two pets. I rented a car for a few days for my sister to use to pick me up after surgery and in case anything urgent came up right after the surgery. She stayed with me about a week and a friend of mine drove last minute to spent another week with me to help me. Everything was pretty clear and easy leading up to the surgery day. I waxed and shaved because I knew I wouldn’t be able to for a while after surgery and I wanted to shave instead of having them do it last minute in the operating room. The hard part was post surgery… When I first got home I was super dehydrated and nauseous. Drank Gatorade with ice out of a straw and ate some crackers while on my belly in bed because I couldn’t stand. I think it gave me acid reflux so I recommend antacids. Was in a lot of pain the first 36 hours probably because my fat was very fibrous and difficult to lipo. Took Percocet every 6 hours. Doc recommended taking Advil after a day and a half because it’s better than taking narcotics. After 36 hours I was just taking Tylenol extra strength and ibuprofen. First shower was hard. I had bruising over a lot of my body. I think the sudden release of pressure on my wounds made me lightheaded. Highly recommend having someone nearby when you take your first shower. Also Recommend someone helping to remove dressing around drain because you can’t see it. Took tepid shower. Cool water felt good on bruises. Slight sting at first on wounds but fine after. Held drain in one hand as I used soap with other hand. Dressed drain on my own and put light wound cover over the couple incisions on back. I put Band aids on incisions on bikini line. Bowel movements are messy and difficult because you can’t sit. I used a walker to help hold myself up. It’s messy though. You’ll need lots of large body or baby wipes. For the first week showers and bowel movements made me light headed. But they got easier after that. My butt was really swollen so I used medical pads around the open area of the fans as padding between my butt cheeks and the opening of the faja. The swelling in my butt went down after a couple weeks. I basically took 2 weeks off work. The surgery triggered a massive migraine that wouldn’t go away for about 10 days. I was tired, nauseous, irritable and there were moments where I was like ‘what did I do to myself!’ because the recovery was so difficult. Recommend having someone stay with you for 10-14 days after surgery to help. I live alone with two pets so my sister and friend took care of the pets. They did dishes, helped me get in and out of my faja, warmed up food, did light cleaning, etc. but I hired a cleaner to clean the apartment and deep clean the bathroom about a week in or so. I usually do this but couldn’t. The first two weeks are the worst but it eventually gets better. Three months later i was still feeling numbness in my back (where I got Lipo) and had some minimal swelling. I reduced pressure on my butt even though my doctor said I could sit after 2 weeks. I basically stayed off of it for about 4 months until I felt no discomfort. Until then i used pillows or rolled towels to keep pressure off my butt when I was sitting or laying down or laying on my side. I never got a bbl pillow. Throw pillows seemed to work on the couch and in bed and a rolled beach towel was fine for me in the car. I mostly used a standing desk when working. I Stopped using faja everyday at 3 months. BIG WARNING: a BBL (AND REALLY ANY SURGERY) will NOT treat your body dysmorphia. I still feel insecure about my body. I am so much happier now that I’m more proportional but i still have to work on appreciating my body as it is. You still have to work on loving yourself even after having a major procedure like this. Here is a list of things I got: Did food prep for meals over 10 days (made a pot of bland veggie soup for the first day after surgery and meals high in healthy fats, fiber and protein for the rest of the week. No alcohol, fast food or junk food. You want to feed your fat and help your body heal!) - extra faja so i had two to use - pet pee pads to lay on bed or in car so you don’t get fluid stains - mattress cover to prevent fluid stains - unscented antibacterial soap - band aids - medical tape - gauze - loose pajama pants and button up pajama tops - a walker to help you get around that first week - warm socks - antacids - extra strength tylenol - stand up desk so I could work from home - ice packs for swelling - body wipes - Gatorade or pedialyte Updated on 17 Mar 2023: Overall I am happy with my experience with Dr. Francis. He listened to me and what I wanted, which honestly is rare. I wanted a larger butt size for my BBL because I'm taller and I'm kind of a larger person. But I didn't want to look like Kim Kardashian. He totally listened even though he suggested a smaller size for me. I feel like my butt fits my body really well. Honestly no one has even noticed I got anything done, which is what I wanted! It really helped my self esteem. I no longer cry when I have to go pants shopping. His team is super nice and attentive. I do wish they had prepared me more for the surgery. I think they downplay the challenge of recovery maybe to not scare us, but I would prefer just honest preparation. I did a lot of things that they didn't suggest that other people here suggested like prepping food for a couple weeks, getting a walker to help me walk, getting ice packs, a plastic cover for my mattress, dog pee pads to catch any fluids, etc.The operating room is in the back of their office. Everything was fine, but when I woke up from the surgery they quickly scooted me off the operating bed right away and out the door. I was so disoriented and clearly still high off the anesthesia. I was also in intense pain. It felt like I got in a car accident. It was around 6pm so I know they were all trying to get home, but wish they had a recovery room where I could rest for a bit until I was more alert and able to walk to the car where my sister was waiting to drive me home. They said people can go back to work within a few days, but I was out for about 10 days. I was in intense pain for the first 36 hours but just took percocet and I was fine. After the first 36 hours, I just took extra strength tylenol. I didn't realize that withdrawing from percocet can cause migraines so I got a HUGE migraine. The doctor wrote a letter for me excusing me from work. I wish I had known to ask for that earlier!Overall I'm really happy with my results. My butt is a good size for my figure, its symmetrical and my shape is totally transformed. Would work with Dr. Francis again and be more prepared next time!
Dear happygirl, There is no doubt that you would benefit significantly from a liposuction, either with or without fat transfer depending on your goals and needs. However, keep in mind that THE most common risk of liposuction surgery is contour irregularities, i.e. fibrosis-y tummies. It is a fact and a reality that you have to accept as a possible occurrence, even though technologies and techniques have evolved significantly over the past few decades to avert it. Lymphatic massages following liposuction probably help somewhat. The one thing that we cannot control is the unpredictability of the individual healing process. Good luck!
Dear randomnameee, You appear to be very young with good skin elasticity. So, you may not need a breast lift after removal of your breast implants. You can have the explantation done and see how your skin responds and stage the lift if needed at all. Good luck!
Dear Thriving, More of a concern, rather than the mild double bubble deformity, in my opinion is the shape and continued ptosis of your breasts, and the widening of your areolae. It is for these reasons that I rarely, if ever, recommend a periareolar, or donut breast lift. However, the old 6 month waiting time for breast implants to descend is a general number and may not apply to everyone. So there might still be some implant settling to come, especially in a subfascial setting. You might consider having to convert to a lollilop lift if that does not happen. Good luck!
Dear Inventive, Congratulations on maintaining such a great figure after 2 children and breastfeeding. Your breasts are indeed quite asymmetric. The good thing is that your nipple heights are above your fold and relatively symmetric. The placement of 2 different size breast implants can be a slippery slope because when you change the volume you also change the base diameter and the projection. You may be the perfect case for it though. However, you should not expect that your breasts will be perfectly symmetric after breast augmentation. There will likely be some residual, or perhaps new asymmetry present. Also, do expect that your areolae will stretch to an even larger diameter with breast implants behind them. Seek consultation with an American Board of Plastic Surgery board certified plastic surgeon for an in person exam and discussion of your options. Good luck!
Dear Tough, You have correctly stated that "no two boobs are alike," but sometimes they can be "more alike." We don't have the luxury of seeing your pre-operative photos to evaluate the extent, if any, of pre-existent asymmetry. The pain that you are experiencing with the lower breast implant is unlikely because it "sits lower." At any rate, it appears that you either have a mild capsular contracture on the higher side, or it was placed higher. Your solution may be a relatively simple lowering of that implant, with capsule releases if indicated. Good luck!
