Deep Plane in Istanbul - The Best
I went to Turkey because I wanted full facial rejuvenation that looked natural, and I was not willing to spend $100K–$150K in the U.S. to get it. That part is straightforward. What isn’t straightforward is figuring out who you can actually trust when every surgeon has polished photos and five-star reviews. I didn’t want to roll the dice on my face. I wanted something more concrete than marketing. What I ended up paying attention to was the person behind the work. That’s how I found Dr. Semih Yildiz. Yes, his results are beautiful. But a lot of surgeons can produce a good “after.” What mattered to me was what drives him. He’s not just a surgeon. He’s also a musician and a photographer, and he’s pursued additional training in Beverly Hills. That combination told me I was looking at someone who is wired for precision, proportion, and discipline. Someone who cares about form, not just outcome. Someone who is not interested in doing average work in any area of his life. That is who you want operating on your face. From the first consultation, there was no performance. No attempt to charm or sell me. He looked at my face, assessed it quickly, and spoke with a level of clarity that made it obvious he knew exactly what he was doing. He was calm, direct, and precise. I never felt like I was being managed or persuaded, which I appreciated. I am still healing, so I am not posting photos yet, but the results are already clear. Nothing looks pulled, overdone, or artificial. I look like myself, just corrected and refreshed. The changes are significant, but they don’t read as surgical, which is exactly what I wanted. There was also a moment after surgery that confirmed I had made the right decision. I asked him about a slight asymmetry in my nose that has always been there. I assumed he would suggest fixing it. Instead, he told me no. He said that nothing in nature is perfectly symmetrical and that my nose suited my face as it is. That response matters. It told me he is not looking to add procedures or chase perfection at the expense of natural balance. He knows where to stop, which is arguably more important than knowing what to do. I also want to mention Zilha, who manages client relations. She handled everything from scheduling to logistics in a way that made the entire process easy. More importantly, she was present in a way that you don’t expect but absolutely need. She stayed with me overnight in the hospital, helped me walk, made sure I ate when I didn’t want to, and generally made sure I was taken care of at every step. She is organized, attentive, and genuinely invested in her patients. I chose Dr. Yildiz because I trusted my read on him, and I was right. I will be going back to him for future procedures without hesitation. If cost were not a factor at all, if I had paid significantly more for this, my opinion would not change. That’s the simplest way I can put it. He is not going to stay under the radar for long. Anyone seriously considering surgery would be wise to pay attention to that.
