Alan Gonzalez, MD, FACS

A year ago, I travelled from Canada to Barranquilla, Colombia, to have my breast explant surgery with Dr. Alan González. Now, one year later, I want to share my experience because I could not be happier with my decision. After having silicone breast implants for 12 years, I started experiencing symptoms that affected my quality of life, including fatigue, skin rashes on my face and scalp, depression, and insomnia. I began questioning whether removing my implants was the right

I want to express my deepest gratitude to Dr. Alan González in Barranquilla. From the very first moment, the experience was truly exceptional. Dr. González is an outstanding surgeon who not only excels in his professionalism, but also in his warmth, humanity, charisma, and simplicity. My explant procedure was something I went through with complete trust, thanks to the peace of mind and confidence he inspires. You can truly feel when a doctor works with genuine love and dedication. One year ago, I had my breast reduction surgery with Dr. Alan Gonzalez,  and today I can say with complete confidence that it was one of the most empowering choices I’ve made for my well-being. While the results exceeded my expectations, what truly elevated this experience was the level of intention, structure, and humanity behind every step of the journey. The process was exceptionally thorough: comprehensive evaluations, meetings with Dr. Alan, the anesthesiologist and nutritionist,

Dr. Alan and his team are truly a dream team. I traveled from the United States to Barranquilla for my rhinoplasty, and while I was initially nervous about everything that comes with having surgery abroad, I honestly wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. From the very beginning even before I arrived , they made sure I had everything I needed and went above and beyond to facilitate the entire process, which gave me so much peace of mind. Once here, the clinic staff as a whole

I had my breast explant surgery with Dr. Alan and everything was a complete success. He is a wonderful doctor with incredible skills and such a caring, professional approach. From the very first consultation, I felt confident and secure knowing I was in the best hands. The entire team was excellent, always attentive and professional in every detail. I especially want to highlight my nurses Wendy and Milena, who took care of me with so much dedication, patience, and kindness throughout

It is weird to say that this was my best surgical experience. My first destination surgery. I never thought I would travel to have a major surgery done. BUT I am happy I found Dr. Alan Gonzalez and took the best decision after seeing him on my first consultation . He gave me peace of mind. I can say I felt so safe always with the nurse on my side in and out of the hospital. The staff is amazing. Each one of them with an important roll marvelously performed. Luis, Daniela, Mayra,
