Well, I had the Orbera balloon put in two days ago. From the moment I got home I was vomiting every ten minutes. This lasted all day and all night. I was utterly miserable. It was sheer torture and there was no way I could take it even one more day. I went back in to the surgical center yesterday morning and they tried fluid IVs and doubling my nausea medicine. Nothing helped and I continued to vomit while there. So I had the balloon removed yesterday afternoon and immediately felt better. This was a torturous experience and I will never do it again. I'm going to go back to the old tried and true of diet and exercise. It was NOT worth it. I lost five pounds during the ordeal but who wouldn't lose that much when you're not eating or drinking and constantly vomiting. My advice: don't take this lightly. The nausea and vomiting are no joke. Hope others have better experiences than I did.
