I can not thank Dr. Joseph for what he has giving me…..confidence!!! 6 months ago he gave me the body I have always dreamed of, the years of hard work I put in to loose the extra weight I gained during pregnancy left me with lots of excess skin and now I am ready to go to the beach and wear a bathing suit with total confidence. I will forever be grateful

Dr. Michael's is a phenomenal and talented surgeon. We met when I had a dog split my nose in half. I knew that I would never look the same... I was wrong. He spent about 6 hours and like an artist stitched it up. In 7 days I had my stitches removed and it was like nothing ever happened. As time went on and the healing process continued, you can't tell anything happened. People have no idea I had that happen. He's so good that on the spot at 1 am he just saved my nose on the spot. Second I had skin cancer on my arm. I only trusted Dr. Michaels to fix it. And of course, with a skin graft, testing the area, and the precision to remove and then like magic stitch it back to normal. He's the go to surgeon when it comes to adding a little bit of confidence to our lives. My family members have used his services as well because of the amazing gift this man has to heal and at the same time make you laugh and make you feel like you're just hanging out. He's definitely #1

Not only is Dr. Michaels wonderful, but his entire staff is incredibly helpful, patient and supportive! I tend to ask a lot of questions, and all of the staff (special shout out to Leah, Carolina, and Mackenzie!) are happy to answer them. The team is very responsive, organized and professional. Wonderful staff and Dr Michael’s takes the time to answer all your questions and concerns. Amazing surgeon and would recommend to anyone looking to have a procedure done. Worth the wait time and so happy I decided to proceed with my tummy tuck.

I became interested in skin removal surgery after gaining and losing weight a little too quickly resulting in loose skin. I stumbled across Dr. Michael’s on Instagram account only to realize that he is local. I stalked his profile for quite some time, as well as a few other surgeons both locally and some out of state. I spent hours researching online about the procedures I wanted to have, but also on the providers themselves.

Social media is a highlight real, so of course we share the best of the best on there. The thing about Dr. Michaels is that quite literally ALL of his work is the best of the best. What he chooses to share on his social media accounts or his website doesn’t even scratch the surface of the quality of work that he does.

My first consultation was with Dr. Michaels. I had a few other consultations in the Annapolis, MD area (he is in Bethesda/Fairfax). The other surgeons had great portfolios of work, nice prices, and were really easy to talk to at my appointments, but I promise you the instant you meet Dr. Michaels, something will click. He is the absolutely best in terms of his work – his incisions, his bellybuttons, his placement, and so on, but the real icing on the cake is his personality. There are people in this world that make you feel comfortable in the most uncomfortable situations (like getting a major life altering surgery) and he will make you feel so at ease. I remember sharing some post op photos with him and saying how happy and thankful I was to have been his patient and could tell that he was genuinely happy that I was happy. That means something.

Ultimately do your research and go to the surgeon that makes you feel comfortable, but I promise you that Dr. Michaels is the literal best along with his staff. Research and pay for quality. This is your body and you will be in the best hands here.

Dr. Michaels is top notch. In my option you can’t get better than this. His work is impeccable, I have personally have had many providers/procedures and done extensive research. Dr. Michaels is an expert in his field. Dr. Michaels spends time with you telling you exactly what to expect. He is very reachable at all times and bedside manner is right on. I had a lower body lift with auto augmentation bbl, thigh lift and reverse tummy tuck 8/21/2020 I also had bodytite to my knees on 4/27/2021. Everything that I had done came out amazing. I love how I look. Dr. Michaels is a very caring Doctor. I am extremely happy and fortunate to have him as my doc!!!

After years of extensive research and different consultations, I’m most certain that I have found the doctor. I haven’t even met him yet but based off of his work and great reviews I’ve seen both on social media and other various websites, I know I won’t be disappointed. I finally inquired on his website this past weekend and Leah from his office contacted me back first thing this morning (Monday). Unfortunately, he is booked on consultations until September but I’m not surprised based off of his amazing work. I scheduled my consult for Sept and asked Leah to put me on a call list should any cancellations come up to get me in sooner. She was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and patient while I asked her numerous questions. Although September seems so far away, I’m so excited to meet with him and get his professional opinion. I’d much rather wait the long time to get a doctor I know will do a great job rather than just go with any doctor. Oh, I guess I should mention that I’m looking to get a tummy tuck with lipo and possibly get a breast augmentation. My main focus however is to get my abdominal region right as this is my most self conscious area since having my son back in 2010. I’m super ready for this and will try to keep you all posted throughout my experience.

I can’t believe my first review of him was back on March of 2021 when I was excited about my consult. Fast forward about 2 years and I finally got my surgery with the GOAT. I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr. Michaels and his team. He isn't just an amazing doctor but a true artist. I've had nothing but positive experiences with him and his staff from the moment I called in to ask questions, to booking a consult, and finally undergoing his magic.

I am currently 15 days post op from my mommy makeover (tummy tuck w/ muscle repair, lipo 360, and breast aug w/ lift) and even though I am obviously swollen, I am blown away by the results. I never imagined I could even feel this amazing in my body and I'm so excited to see the final results of his work within the next year as I continue to heal. His bedside manner, the way he listens, and his honesty are truly characteristics that are difficult to find. I just knew immediately at the end of my consultation that I wanted him to be my doctor.

Also, onto his team...they have all been super amazing and helpful. Leah, the patient coordinator walked me through and answered all of my questions/emails anytime I had them in such great detail and all of the MA's I came in contact with were so friendly and supportive. My post op visit with his PA, Mackenzie was also great. She was super informative, sweet, and answered all of my questions. I also just had my very first facial with Jennifer and I already booked my 2nd one because it was awesome! I didn't mean for this review to be so lengthy but honestly, I can go on and on about how great Dr. Michaels is and what an amazing team he has.

Oh, and I also had my surgery out of Inova Hospital and let me tell you...everyone I came across on my surgery day was so kind, supportive, and made sure that I was at ease and comfortable. This is ultimately to say - Dr. Michaels, you are the bomb! I as well as many other patients of yours (I'm sure) are truly grateful for you!

Start to finish he is the most amazing doctor! I am now 7 months po a 360 tummy tuck and breast augmentation. Best decision I’ve ever made for myself. What he does should be considered a work of art! I have never felt so comfortable in my own skin ever in my life and I never thought that was a possibility again after 3 kids!

Dr. Michaels and his staff are AMAZING! His bedside manner, attention to detail and work makes the entire process worth it. From start with scheduling the consultation to finish and behind Dr. Michaels listens to your desires and gives you detailed and realistic advice regarding procedures and outcomes. He is also very responsive to any questions and or concerns that may come up during the process. I highly recommend him and his team!

Dr. Michaels and his staff are the best in the industry. Prior to my procedures with Dr. Michaels I visited 4 other plastic surgeons and two were women. Hands down I made the perfect choice.

The team is patient, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and held my held through the entire process.

After six months I look and feel fabulous!!
